UG Admission: Admission to all UG courses at Amity University Patna is based on Class 12 grades, an English language test, and an interview. Candidates for B.Tech admission must take the Amity JEE.

PG Admission: Admission to all PG courses at Amity University Patna is based on merit in the qualifying exam, an English Language test, and an interview. On the interview day, candidates for MBA admission must participate in a group discussion and a management aptitude test.

PhD Admission: PhD programs at Amity University Patna campus is available in January and July twice a year. A PhD program is available in two formats: full-time and part-time, with no distance learning options. As a result, regular coursework, participation in various interactions, submission of progress reports via presentations, and so on are required throughout the program. A full-time PhD scholar devotes his entire time to completing the program's requirements. In contrast, a part-time PhD scholar devotes a portion of his time to the program while fulfilling his official/employment obligations. PhD full-time is for at least three years, and a PhD part-time is for at least four and a half years. Both modes have a maximum duration of 6 years.

Amity University Patna cut-off & merit list is announced after the conduction of entrance test. Amity University has organized departments and colleges, and the cut off will be determined based on the reservation categories and the availability of seats for the specialized courses.
