School of Skill Development: School of Skill Development was established in 2015 with the aim to inculcate the technical and other essential skills among young minds through Certificate Courses beyond their academic curriculum. To cater to the needs of the students and sharpen their skills for better employment opportunities the School has an active association with prominent Skill development bodies like NSDC, NSDA, PSDM, including 10 other Sector Skill Development Councils. The association of BFGI and industry forums like FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, AIMA, NASSCOM, etc. helps the School of Skill Development to better equip and train the students according to ever-changing needs and requirements of the industry.

School of Entrepreneurship: School of Entrepreneurship helps students to convert their ideas to Startups and become budding entrepreneurs. School works like a bridge between various Government bodies and departments to enable the students to become job providers rather than job seekers. School organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps in association with Govt. of India through the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) on regular basis and actively participate in initiatives of state and centre govt. like Startup India Punjab Yatra, related to Startup India to give ample exposure to the students to become entrepreneurs. Along with these all School provides Business Support Services like Detailed Project Report, Business Plan Development, Technology Validation, Marketing and Sales Planning, IPR, HR & Legal Issues, etc. which are essential for budding entrepreneurs and Startups.

School of Competitive Studies: School of Competitive Studies provides guidance and necessary support to the students to prepare them for various competitive exams of Central and State Governments & Private Sector Undertakings. This school encourages the students to crack prestigious exams like UGC-NET, CAT, GMAT, GRE, IELTS/TOFEL, Railways, GATE, etc.

School of International Studies: School of International Studies is working with the leading organizations and govt. bodies of many nations including Canada, Australia, and America to open new horizons of opportunities for its students. The recent development is an establishment of ‘Baba Farid Global School’. This initiative would be very helpful to the students who are seeking the opportunities aboard. Apart from this BFGI is having collaborations with many renowned universities of the world for grooming its students.

Department of Training and Placement: Mock Test, Group Discussions, Pre: Interview preparations are the key initiatives of the department for better placement of students. Campus Placement Drives by the department give ample opportunities to our students for placements.

Department of Research and Innovation: Department of Research & Innovation has been contributing very well to promote quality research and research facilities. The department is credited with organizing various International and National Conferences in association with Govt. of India and Govt. of Punjab departments apart from leading industrial houses and educational institutions.

Department of Career Guidance and Counseling: The department is established with the objective of guiding the students for choosing right career and achieving success in careers. The department provides career guidance and counseling to students on regular basis for fulfillment of its objectives.

Department of Social Welfare: This department organizes various activities with the help of NSS Units, Clubs and Societies of all the colleges. The department organizes various events related to Swachh Bharat, AIDS awareness, Medical Checkup camps, etc. with the active participation of students of BFGI.

Fully AC Campus: BFGI has fully Air-Conditioned classrooms and other amenities for the students.

AC Hostel with attached washrooms: To provide a homely and comfortable environment for the resident students, the campus has AC hostels separate for boys and girls with healthy and hygienic food being served in the hostel mess

ICT Enabled Classrooms: All the Classrooms are equipped with ICT infrastructure for better teaching-learning experience

Digital Central AC Library: BFGI campus has four centrally air-conditioned and a network of departmental libraries with a vast collection of books related to all the courses.
