Baba Farid Group of Institutions Scholarship 2026 Overview
Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) offers scholarships for students seeking admission in 10+1, 10+2, UG, and PG programs for the academic year 2026-27. Scholarships are available across several categories based on merit, entrance test scores, economic background, sports achievements, cultural achievements, and special circumstances.
Under special scholarships, children of martyrs receive 100% tuition fee waiver throughout the program. Children of BFGI employees get 25%, and children of principals or press reporters receive 20% tuition fee waiver. Single girl child and children of defence personnel get 50% waiver for the first semester.
Students from economically weaker sections scoring 90% or above in qualifying exams receive a 100% academic fee waiver. Those scoring between 85–89.99% get 50%, and 80–84.99% scorers receive 25% waiver.
Through BFGI entrance test, students scoring 95–100% get 100% tuition fee waiver for the full program. Merit-based scholarships cover the first year or first semester depending on qualifying exam percentage.
Sports achievers with national or state-level podium finishes and cultural achievers with state-level wins receive academic fee waivers for the first academic year. Continuation depends on performance.
Currently enrolled UG and PG students ranking in university merit lists can receive academic fee waivers for the following semester.

There is no ETT course offered at Baba Farid Group of Institutions. It offers a B.Ed course and a B.A + B.Ed Integrated programme. The B.Ed course is of two years duration. The fees for B.Ed is Rs 58500 for the first year and Rs 61400 for the second year. For the BA-B.Ed. Integrated Course, the fees are Rs 40200 in the first year, Rs 42200 in the second year, Rs 67700 in the third year and Rs 71100 in the fourth year. For admission, you must have at least 50% marks either in Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree.
