BIT Raipur Admission 2026: Eligibility, Application Process, Counselling & Important Dates

BIT Raipur has opened its admission process for the 2026 academic year. Candidates can apply through an online or offline mode depending on their preference. Admissions are offered through merit-based and entrance-based selection, depending on the course. Applicants are advised to complete the application process before the last date as seats are limited.

The DTE manages the admissions for technical courses at BIT Raipur, and the process is transparent.

• Step 1: Clear the required entrance exam (JEE, PET, GATE, PPT, or PPHT).
• Step 2: Register on the DTE website (cgdte.in) and pay the fee (Rs. 500–700).
• Step 3: DTE will publish the merit list (UG list expected in April–May 2026).
• Step 4: Fill in your choices and take part in seat allotment (usually 3–4 rounds).
• Step 5: Visit the college for document checking and pay the admission fees.
• GD/PI: Only for PhD. Other courses get admission through merit or entrance—no GD/PI.

BIT Raipur Expected counselling dates:

• B.Tech counselling: June 10–20, 2026
• Diploma counselling: June 5–15, 2026
• Spot rounds will happen if seats remain empty.
• For non-DTE courses like BBA/BCA, the college gives direct merit lists by May.

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
• Graduation mark sheets (for PG courses)
• ID proof like Aadhaar or PAN
• Entrance exam scorecard (JEE / CG PET/others as required)
• Four passport-size photos
• Caste or Income certificate (only if applicable)
