BHU MCA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications) degree at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) require applicants to hold a bachelor's degree (under the 10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject at the intermediate (10+2) level or as a subsidiary subject at the bachelor's level. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% or an equivalent grade in their qualifying examination. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum aggregate requirement is relaxed to 45%. Admission to the M.C.A. program at BHU is based on a national-level entrance examination called BHU PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test), followed by counseling and seat allocation based on merit.
