Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur Placement Cell

The placement cell at Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur aims to make all the students ready for the interview session. They give students an opportunity to get in a face-to-face dummy interview and they try to represent their skills and see where they stand at that given point in time. In addition, the placement team helps the students with a wide range of activities. Some of these are quite basic like resume writing and cover letter preparation while some are quite intense like group discussions and one-on-one mock interviews. 

There is no doubt that the candidates are usually nervous during the interview, and this is expected to impact their performance. The Birla Institute of Technology Jaipur placement drive had another successful year in 2022. The college witnessed an increase in the number of companies visiting and saw a leap in the number of offers and particulars of the offer letter. Out of the 36 companies, 126 students walked out with an offer letter. The maximum offer for the year 2022 was INR 32.50 Lakh per annum and the lowest package was INR 3.60 Lakh per annum. The average package is around INR 9.61 Lakh per annum.

Just like 2021, Cognizant remained the most popular company on campus. They offered jobs to 30 candidates followed by Persistent System offering 10 offer letters. Some other leading companies that selected BIT students were – Byjus, Daffodil Software, Deloitte, E&Y, Ericson, Infosys, Tata, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc.

Despite COVID – 19 lockdown and restrictions the year BIT 2021 placement drive was quite successful at Birla Institute of Technology, Jaipur. The campus was visited by around 25 companies. The maximum offer for year 2021 was INR 14.66 Lakh per annum and lowest package was INR 3 Lakh per annum. The average package around INR 6.71 Lakh per annum. 

There was a total of 122 offers given out of which Cognizant selected the maximum students. In total Cognizant picked up 26 candidates followed by Vodafone and Maxval, each picking up 10 candidates each. Some other prominent companies that selected BIT students were – Adani, Byjus, Infosys, Genpact to name a few.
