The JENPAS UG Exam is an important entrance test for students seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), and related programs. Candidates who passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can apply based on the course specifications. Registration, which started on March 24, has already been extended once, with officials previously suggesting that there would be no further extension after today.

BM Birla College of Nursing, Kolkata does not offer a Diploma in Cardio Thoracic Nursing course but rather it offers a Diplomate course in this specialization. It is a DNB super speciality course that is taught in the institute for 3 years with practical training. There are two seats available in the degree course and students have to pass MS/ DNB in general surgery to qualify for admission. Further, the course is awarded by the NBE authorities and it is considered equivalent to post-graduate & post-doctoral programs. The BM Birla College of Nursing, Kolkata Diplomate in Thoracic Nursing course's first-semester fee is Rs. 90,000 per month, the second-semester fee is Rs. 1 L  per month and the third-semester fee is Rs. 1.10 L per month respectively.

B.M. Birla College of Nursing does not offer a Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme. Instead, courses at B.M. Birla College of Nursing include a four-year B.Sc Nursing programme.
