The COMEDK UGET 2026 exam date is expected to be announced on the official website, comedk.org, in the second or third week of May 2026. Registration for the exam is likely to take place between February and April 2026.
The GATE 2026 Admit Card for Computer Science & IT will be available on January 2, 2026 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The CS exam is scheduled for February 8, 2026, and will be held in two sessions: CS1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and CS2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
The GATE 2026 schedule for all 30 papers is now out. The exams will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. CS and CE will be conducted in two shifts, while the remaining papers will have a single shift. Admit cards will be released on January 2, 2026.
Candidates who have acquired BE/B.Tech/ AMIE degree in Civil Engineering by securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Group 1 aggregate percent of marks in qualifying examination should not be less than 45%. The admissions are through central counseling on the basis of merit in PGCET or GATE. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for scholarship through AICTE. A few seats are also available under sponsored and Management quota.
Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree examination of Bengaluru University with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate in all the three years of Degree examination or any other University equivalent thereto with 50% marks. However in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST & Cat-I the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45% of marks.
The candidate shall have passed Bachelor Degree examination with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or electives at Degree level of Bengaluru University or any other University equivalent thereto with 50% marks.
Provided further that in respect of candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified in the first proviso in the PUC/10+2 with 50% of marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST&Cat-I,45% of Marks in that subject shall be considered for admission.
