Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology (ACCET), Karaikudi Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

 Every student on admission to the college automatically becomes a member of co-operative store. The store primarily caters to the requirements of the students.

2. MEDICAL FACILITIES
There is a dispensary in the hostel campus with an attached in patient ward to accommodate students and members of the staff and their families in case of illness. The unit is under the charge of a Medical Officer assisted by a pharmacist.

3. AUDITORIUM
The College auditorium (DewanBahadurMurugappa Hall) has a seating capacity of about 600. It has a spacious stage for conducting Graduation day, Cultural programmes& entertainment.

4. POST OFFICE
The Alagappa Engineering College post office, Karaikudi. (Pincode : 630 003) is located in the college campus.

5. BANK
i) IDBI Bank extension counter functions to collect fees from the students.
ii) SBI ATM facility is available in CECRI shopping Complex.
iii) Indian Bank ATM facility is available in the college road.

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian Military Cadet Corps open to students on voluntary basis. It is an organization that recruits cadets and given them basis. It is an Organization that recruits  cadets and given them basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course.

The YRC unit of Alagappa Chettiar College Of Engineering and Technology conducted events as per the guidelines issued by the Indian Red Cross Society, Tamilnadu branch. All the events were conducted to create awareness among the students, to educate them about the role of YRC and to impart their participation in YRC. The following events were conducted year as mentioned below.

The Leo Club of Karaikudi cosmos ACCET chapter is sponsored by lions club or karaikudi cosmos. it was inaugurated in Oct’96. This club belongs to lions club international District 324-b3. The three goals of the club are Leadership, Experience and Oppurtuinty (LEO). Leo service develops qualities such as personal generosity, responsibility and dedication to one community. Leo club has 80 student members now.

“Rotaract”  stands for “Rotary in Action” Rotaract Club is a professional services leadership and community service organization for youngsters.

The purpose of Raotract in to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge  and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

The activities of the association include leading awareness campaign and organizing.

Interested students from the second and third year of all branches can become  members. This association has student members now.

Techlit is an association with the objective of providing common platform for development of personality traits such as communication skills self confidence, public speaking, inter personal relationships etc., the organizing committee consists of selected students and a staff-in-charge. The activities of the association are conducted in the college campus, off the college hours every week. interested  student from second and third year of all branches can become members. This association initiated by student with first 30 members, 16 year ago, has grown to the size of 200 members now.
