Model Ship for Practical Training

The institute also has a model ship on campus for the training of marine engineers called TS Clarissa. TS Clarissa conceived with the intention of giving students a real-time experience into the workings of a ship. Each level of the ship is dedicated for a specific purpose. Design & the built of TS Clarissa is done on the basis of a real-life model of the ship.

Laboratories

The state of art laboratories of Physics & Chemistry is spread in the area of more than 4,000 sq.ft. in which  Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Material, Thermal etc are performed in the labs. The area of more than 5000 sq.ft is allocated for Welding, Lathe Section, Bench Fitting Shop etc which are used for practical training.

Computer Lab

The Coimbatore Marine College has a spacious computer lab for their student with the latest software & technologies. A number of specialised software packages, such as graphic, web design and statistical analysis programs, are also available for the student. Printing services are also offered at nominal costs.

Hostel
