The college has a spacious and capacious library which is automated and well stocked with more than 72,568 (Bar-coded)neatly bound volumes with subscriptions to 15 regional and national newspapers, 111 magazines and periodicals. It also has a number of videos, maps, slides presentation files, discussion papers and a range of periodicals ( both electronic and paper copies). Functioning from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, the College Library is equipped with the latest library automated software to provide an efficient service and scholar-friendly atmosphere. It has a user-friendly corners and cabins and spaces which serve as reading rooms. The library is ready to meet all the e-challenges. It is one of the most IT enabled libraries with e-access and e-databases. DELNET databases are accessible through WWW to more than 4 million bibliographic records of books, Journals and articles etc. The college is proud to offer fully air-conditioned and sound proof reading space in the library. The college is known for its flagship courses in IT and computers. It has carved a very secure niche in the IT space by building technical logistics and e-infrastructure. IT Labs are fully equipped to plug the academic fault-lines by catalyzing Sciencewith Humanities and by empowering Commerce & Management with IT. The IT passouts from the college have created their own diaspora in the world. The college has become a virtual launch-pad of careers. The college has the signal honour of hosting a number of National & International conferences, seminars & symposia on Information technology. A number of research papers, informative articles and compendiums on IT have been brought out by the highly empowered faculty of the Deptt of Computers & Information Technology. The Clubs of various games function under the supervision of the Sports Board comprising members of the staff nominated by the Principal. The sportspersons distinguishing themselves are not only awarded prizes and colours but are also granted fee-concessions and other facilities in deserving cases. Arrangements for all the games have been made at our own Sports Complex. Off and on, the teams go on practise tours. The distinguished players are also sent for training to various coaching centres. The Annual Sports Function is held every year to test the physical fitness, stamina and athletic skills of the students. All the students are required to participate in it.
