The library of Maharshi Dayanand College of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in 1962, the same year when the college came into being. The college main library is situated in a separate building at the rear of the college. The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Library is in three parts. The main section has commerce, B & I, BMM, and computer science books. Arts & Science sections have arts & science books. Bound volumes are kept in research section. Library supports and extends the academic education of an institution. It helps meet the faculty's teaching needs and provides study facilities and educational and recreational reading. Maharshi Dayanand College computer science department has well-equipped state-of-art computer laboratory housing 50+ state-of-the-art desktop and servers with latest configuration. All the computers are inter-connected to various high-end servers running Operating Systems like Linux and backed UPS power backup. Licensed version of anti-virus and system software is used. All the laboratories of the department are connected through high speed ADSL and Cat5 cable. 256 Mbps Internet connectivity is available in the department. Class room lectures are conducted with digital teaching aids like LCD projectors with laptop.
