The campus has expanded from the two acres donated by Mr. Nair in 1946 to twenty acres in 2006 and the number of buildings in the campus has increased manifold. Today, with the infrastructure of the 1300 bedded BYL Nair Charitable Hospital behind it, TNMC makes an ideal breeding ground for budding medicos of the 21st century. It provides training courses in more than 25 different medical and allied branches, including 9 superspeciality courses.

TNMC Mumbai Hostel & Fees Structure

Boys hostel is managed by 25 staff members working for hostel (servants, sweepers, plumbers, pump men, electrician, security guards, gardeners)

Allotment Process: Hostel allotment is done twice year. Rooms are allotted to students on merit basis.

Rules and Regulations:

Hostel gate is closed at 1.00 am and opened at 6.00 am.
Student’s relatives are not allowed to stay in the hostel.
Strict disciplinary action is taken against those students who disturb peace and harmony in the hostel?

GIRL’S HOSTEL:

At present the 50 rooms having a capacity for 150 girls at Haji Ali Hostel campus is closed for renovation.
