NEET 2023 MBBS seats in government medical colleges are 52,778 in total. This year, the government declared a 97% increase in the total MBBS seats. NEET 2023 MBBS seats are allotted to students based on their marks and ranks obtained in the entrance exam. The All India Quota (AIQ) allows 15% of the total seats in government medical colleges to be filled by candidates all over the country, and the remaining 85% seats to be reserved for candidates belonging to the respective states under the State Quota.
The total NEET 2023 MBBS seats are 1,01,043, out of which, 48,265 seats comprise private institutes. Apart from the MBBS seats, 27,868 BDS seats, 603 BVSc & AH seats, and 52,720 AYUSH seats are up for grab this year.
