Overall I have done my B.tech in CSE from this college in 2023. I would say that this college is good for getting a degree but you can't get the better knowledge or skills which is required to get a job. Decent classrooms, hostels and teachers. Poor teaching quality. Also you can't get a good placement with sufficient package from here. Rather than this college I will suggest to prepare for JEE mains and get admission in BIT Sindri which is far good than this college in same fees. Just wasted my 4 years in Dumka Engineering College.
Placement Yes you can get placements from here but not with a good package. But you will get around 4-5 LPA placement from this college. And after working more salary may increase also.
Infrastructure Well infrastructure of this college is quite enough but not as a good dream college. College campus is big, has a playground too and located in a peaceful place in Dumka.
Faculty As being a student of Dumka Engineering College, I would say that you will not get a quality education here for B.tech. No doubt that teachers are very knowledgeable even some are IITians but the level of education which is in IITs, NITs and BITs is not here.
Hostel Though the college has poor facilities in each sector but here you have a hostel too. Rooms are good in hostel, mess is also good. However the college is, but hostel is good.
