To be admitted into the B.Tech civil engineering program, you must meet the eligibility criteria, which requires a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English, or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, you must qualify in either the JEE Mains, LPUNEST, or CUET exams. LPU is not just a good choice, but the best choice for Civil Engineering, as it offers numerous opportunities for students. The program focuses on teaching students how to construct infrastructure and create a conducive environment, emphasizing practical knowledge. LPU provides excellent facilities and practical learning experiences, such as the Unilab mechanical testing of building and development materials. Moreover, LPU is the only private university in India and the first university in Punjab to have a NABL-accredited lab for mechanical testing of building materials. In terms of placements, LPU is highly regarded, with students having the opportunity to work on Capstone projects and being sought after by major multinational corporations. The civil department boasts highly qualified faculty members who offer various specializations. Each year, more than 90% of civil engineering students secure placements in reputable MNCs. LPU's engineering program is ranked 66th, and it is listed at number 22 on the Times Higher Education List for 2022. Additionally, Outlook ranks LPU at number 9 in its Icare ranking and recognizes it as the 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019, according to Knowledge Review. LPU's focus on placements ensures that students become skilled professionals who are highly sought after even before they graduate. I hope this helps. Thank you
