GSFC University was established in 2014 by GSFC Education Society, an initiative of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited. Located in Vadodara, Gujarat, the university is recognised under Gujarat Private University (Second Amendment) Act, 2014.

GSFC University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in various streams such as engineering, science, and arts. These courses are offered by the university under three schools, namely School of Science, School of Management and School of Technology,

The university has also collaborated with international institutions to enable an industry-centric study approach. GSFC University placement cell trains and mentors the students to make the most of the opportunities provided to them at the year-end. GSFC admission to B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, M.Sc and PG Diploma is conducted online through the official website of the university. Students need to fill out an application form to apply for GSFC University admissions. GSFC application fees are Rs 500 for all categories across all streams.
