Overall I recently took admission in Guwahati College, Bamunimaidam, and I’m sharing my honest overall experience so far. The admission process was quite simple and smooth which made everything easy to manage. The college campus is clean and maintained properly. Though the buildings are a bit old-style, the classrooms are big enough and labs for science subjects are well-equipped. The library has a decent collection of books, and students can sit and study there peacefully. Teachers here are good and supportive. They teach clearly, and some of them use projectors or presentations which help in better understanding. If you ask questions, they try their best to clear your doubts. The students in the college come from different backgrounds, and the environment is friendly. Everyone is cooperative and helps each other. The college also holds some cultural and departmental events which give students a chance to participate and showcase their talents. There is no hostel inside the campus, but many PGs and rooms are available nearby for students. The college location is also well-connected by road and rail, so travelling is not a problem. Overall, Guwahati College is a good option for students who want a peaceful place to study with decent facilities and helpful teachers. I’m satisfied with my choice and looking forward to the coming years here.

Infrastructure The college has clean classrooms, basic labs, a decent library, and good location. Simple infrastructure but enough for regular academics. All the seatint benches and desks are cool and good . Perfectly comfortable for students.

Hostel Even though Guwahati College does not have an in-campus hostel, the availability of nearby PGs and rented accommodations makes it very convenient for students. The area around the college, especially Bamunimaidam and adjoining locations, is filled with safe, student-friendly housing options. Both boys and girls can easily find comfortable PGs and private rooms within walking distance. The accommodations are well-maintained, clean, and provide all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, food, laundry, and study-friendly environments. Many PGs offer homely food, regular cleaning, and peaceful surroundings which help students stay focused on their studies. Seniors and locals are also very helpful in guiding new students to find suitable places as per budget and preference. The best part is that these PGs are located in a safe locality with proper lighting, transportation, and basic services available nearby. Thanks to the college’s excellent location, students don’t feel any difficulty staying off-campus

Overall You know the best thing about Guwahati College is it's environment it looks so good during monsoon season, but apart from the environment the overall college structure is also Though it's a government college the streams like arts and science are under government sector but the commerce stream is private there

Placement The placement is not useful there because all you have to do by yourself to get a job or internship whatever you are searching for. So if you are looking for placement then Guwahati College is not for you.

Infrastructure The overall infrastructure is quite good and the but the botany department is something different,its seems like there is a museum inside the college campus. It looks so good even if you are a student from another stream you will be amazed after seeing the botany department.

Faculty The departments are based on the streams, where there are several department in science and arts stream but the commerce stream has only one department named commerce department. Where science stream have chemistry department, physics department also arts stream have political science department, history department and all.

Hostel There is no hostel facilities inside the college campus. Byt outside the college campus few hostel are available for the students who wants to live there.

Placement Our college is very good. Almost 70% of students get placed every year. It is a well-known college. Top recruiting companies like TCS, PNB MetLife, Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Horizon Honda, IndiGo, Kotak Mahindra bank, etc.

Infrastructure infrastructures of the college is so good, There is big classrooms with digital board for easily understandings, sports facilitite and ground is also available, library, hostels, medical facilites are alos availbale.

Hostel my experience in the hostel has been good as well as the facility provided over there is good . with my experience i would suggestion to improve quality of food and hygenius

Hostel The girls hostel of college provides the best environment for students. The food and affordable fee structure have made it the best hostel. rooms are neat and clean.

Overall the quality of placements have been average lately,, the percentage of students places was 100% that all the studenyts were placed who appear thge intervuew

Overall the curriculum is well updated and include all the recent development in the field. Students are encourage to excel not only in academics but as individuals as well.

Overall Guwahati College faculty is good teaching also in creativity. Guwahati College communication system is very well they provide good quality teacher. Guwahati College campus is very beautiful and natural

Hostel Guwahati College have not hostel facility . It is very insitated because it's situated in Guwahati and they have not hostel facility so that I request to them to provide hostel

Overall college may be a degree-awarding educational institution. So, college is meant not only to provide education in the country but also a strong base of youth power. College is the place where one can get higher education for achieving his or her career goal. College is indeed necessary for each and every one.

Placement I am really thankful towards our college and placement cell, for supporting and providing us opportunities to learn interview skills, communication skills and guiding us in placements. The staff was supportive and informed us with enough notice regarding every placement drive.

Infrastructure Main building, which houses a Principal's office and Administrative office, Auditorium, AV room, Central Instrumentation Facility, Computer labs, Arts, Science and Commerce departments, Classrooms, Staffroom etc. The Annexure building has few Classrooms, Canteen facility and Gymkhana for indoor games.

Faculty the teaching and administrative staff and those members of the administration having academic rank in an educational institution. an excellent mathematics faculty. c. faculty plural : faculty members.

Hostel Hostel life teaches many lessons self-dependence, self-reliance, and disciplined way of life. At home, the young remain dependent on the mother, but in the hostel, everything has to be done by himself. Hostel life gives one the training to develop a taste for whatever food is served
