IBS Hyderabad Scholarships

IBS Hyderabad scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit-cum-means basis. In 2023-25, IBS Hyderabad will offer scholarships to its students' worth Rs 10 crores under various categories which include meritorious students, wards of ICFAI Business School (IBS) alumni, wards of defence personnel, and persons with disabilities. IBS Hyderabad awards merit scholarships to candidates who have shown exceptional performance in various management entrance and admission tests like IBSAT 2023. Candidates applying for MBA/PGDM and taking the December session IBSAT 2023 test are eligible. The scholarship amount will be adjusted in the first and second semesters after the enrolment in IBS Hyderabad during the payment of the IBS Hyderabad admission fees. The IBS Hyderabad scholarship will be disbursed under the ICFAI Business School Scholarship programme as mentioned below:

Merit Scholarships for the Class of 2026 - Highlights

Eligibility Criteria	Scholarships will only be offered to candidates who have appeared for the IBSAT-2023 test and have successfully qualified.
Admission and Registration	Candidates must complete the admission process, pay the requisite admission fee, and register on the specified date to be eligible for the scholarship.
Applicability	The awarded scholarship amount can be adjusted only against the programme fee and payment and cannot be utilised for any other purposes or fees.
Withdrawal Policy	Applicable fee refunds will be calculated after deducting the scholarship sum granted earlier.

IBS Hyderabad Scholarships

IBS offers scholarships of Rs 4 lakh to the top 100 candidates in each category of IBSAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC TM, XAT, GMAT® test scores. The minimum scholarship eligibility cutoff scores are as follows-

NMAT by GMAC – 225 score
CAT – 80 percentile
XAT – 80 percentile
GMAT – 640 score

The scholarship has already been announced and the last date to apply for it is January 31.

Scholarships are the monetary assistance given to the students who are meritorious and/or belong to the weaker section of society. Awarding scholarships is a way to provoke and encourage students to gain knowledge and education through a platform. ICFAI Business School Hyderabad (IBS Hyderabad) Scholarships helps students to gain help based on their academic performance. Those with a good educational track record can attempt to apply for the scholarships offered by IBS Hyderabad. These scholarships are offered under the defined norms of IFHE.

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) offers IBS Hyderabad merit scholarships for the students taking admission in the BBA course offered by the institution. There are majorly two types of scholarships offered under the prescribed norms of IFHE. These are Scholarships based on the past academic record and Scholarships based on the semester-wise performance of the students during their BBA curriculum. Given below are the details of the two IBS Hyderabad Scholarships.

Merit Scholarships Based on Past Academic Record

These scholarships are given to the students who have a good academic record in their senior secondary examination ( Class 12 ) or equivalent, from a recognised institution. The percentage of the total aggregate of class 12 final examination will be calculated to churn out the qualifying students for the scholarship. Students with a percentage above 70 will be considered as eligible for the scholarship of this category. Students who wish to take this scholarship must also know that the scholarship can also be continued for all the semesters if the performance of the students remains above 6.0 GPA. Merit Scholarships Based on Semester-Wise Performance

Scholarships of this category are given to the students of BBA programme of IBS Hyderabad for their remarkable academic performance in the semester examinations of the course. 10% of the total number of students per academic session of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) will be awarded this scholarship. The Semester-Wise Performance Scholarship will be provided in addition to the Past Academic Record Scholarship to the deserving BBA students. Refer the table to understand the details.
