MBA admission 2025-26 is ongoing in many colleges in India. Understanding what to expect in XAT is important as it enables candidates to plan their preparation efficiently and develop effective strategies. The exam pattern for XAT has remained consistent with the previous year's structure, comprising three parts: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation. 94 Percentile in CAT 2025: With a 94 percentile in CAT 2025, management aspirants should expect to attain an overall score of 60.8 marks based on last year’s trends. While 94 percentile is generally considered a decent percentile, the chances for admission to the top-tier institutes are limited. 96 Percentile in CAT 2025: For candidates expecting to score 96 percentile in CAT 2025, they should be prepared to obtain admissions to some of the best management institutes. To achieve 96 percentile, candidates are required to score a minimum of 66.3+ marks overall, with a sectional expected score of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC): 34.5+ marks, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR): 22.9+ marks, and Quantitative Aptitude (QA): 24.4+ marks. It should be noted that this projected marks vs percentile is based on the past trends, and is most likely to change as per the latest data, including the performance of the candidates in the CAT 2025 exam, overall level of difficulty, previous year's cutoffs and various other factors. However, 96 percentile is a good score, and candidates will be admitted to the top management institute with such percentile. 

The overall CAT 2025 cutoff percentile for MBA admissions at the IIM Visakhapatnam is likely to be around 90 for the general category and between 75 and 45 for the reserved categories. While the official cutoff is yet to be released, it is anticipated to closely mimic the following tentative cutoff data. It is mandatory to secure the specified overall and sectional CAT cutoff percentile to be shortlisted for the WAT-PI round of selection. Those who meet either of the two cutoff requirements may still be eligible for shortlisting based on the grounds of gender diversity (reserved for female candidates) and a non-engineering background. The CAT cutoff percentile varies from one IIM to another and therefore, it is important to meet the admission criteria to get shortlisted for the MBA program at the specific institute. 

IIM Sirmaur CAT 2025 expected percentile cutoff for preliminary shortlisting is set to make sure only candidates with great overall performance in the CAT exam move forward towards the next stages, which include the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
