Placements is not that easy task to do but if you are career oriented and make small small goals to achieve big in life then you can easily get placed in not only one company but in 3-4 companies because in LPU tons of companies come every year for placements. University conduct PEP classes, mock interview classes, webinars, workshops, guest lecture from expert students kept on participating in these activities by which their skill will be enhancing and their personality comes across better. The key points for students: • Attend all the lectures, maintain the attendance always and CGPA • Attend all the personal enhancement classes by which you work on your personality and soft skill. • Just believe in yourself and don’t realia on short cuts there is no short cut in life, do hard work keep on do that after you become pro in that then do smart work it will best for you own career. So dear, LPU will give you all which you need in order to find a great job, but it is YOU who has to grab the opportunity.

The faculty members might read this answer but still I think I should write this. Firstly,there are plenty of new subjects to study in BA(h) economics but there is no specialized faculty for the subjects.most subjects are taught by people who themselves are new to that subject. I must say that they really are helpful.they are always available for you if you need any help,but then again the knowledge constraints comes in. It is you who will have to study on your own and you won't get much from the faculty(also you should not expect much). And for co curricular activities,this really is a nice place to be in. As per my understanding, Students go for MA ECONOMICS after completing BA economics the Ph.D. They go for teaching job.Few students op placements. Students also appear for gov. exams. There are many colleges in India for BA and MA Economics course But one of the best college in Delhi/ NCR is Geeta University .It is one of the best college with state of the art infrastructure. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures . University focuses on quality education a lot and all the professors of GU are highly qualified and knowledgeable , University also focuses on practical knowledge a lot and students of GU has to go through various such practical tasks and projects which makes it very easy to understand the concepts and develop a deep knowledge of the subjects

Dear Navya, I have no idea about the placements of this programme at IBS Hyderabad but being an alumnus of LPU I want to tell you that the highest package offered for the BSc(Hons.) in Economics at LPU is 2.98 LPA in the previous year. LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. This program is a judicious mix of conventional economics courses and modern-day analytical tools on data analysis. So, I’ll start with the placements. Placements: The maximum package for the students was 4 lakhs with a 75% placement record. The students can join the internship by sitting in the placement drive organized by LPU or they can organize at their own end. The students can work in banks (Private or Public), Pvt sector or Public Ltd. companies, etc. The students have done an internship in Companies like IDBI, FUTURE GENERAL INSURANCE Company, COHO, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Karvy stockbroking, Decathlon Sports Ltd; etc. Curriculum: Through this course, students should be able to evaluate the data with appropriate logic and conditions required in a business scenario demonstrate logical and analytical functions for handling various managerial problems construct appropriate charts by using excel application for better report presentation analyze the complex business data with excel applications Faculty: Teachers are the best part of LPU. They are always ready to help, no matter what. They teach us the value of being professional. There are some great persons here, hope you find some. They give us real-life tips on how to solve and face a problem or to talk it out.
