On the day of December 4th, 2022, the social welfare club of IMI Kolkata, Altruist, organised a cleanliness drive campaign, which was held at Majherhat Railway Station, Kolkata. This was different from the regular classes, and the student had a good time. This initiative by the students of IMI Kolkata exemplifies that humanity's problem cannot be solved by fighting, but only by working together. The drive was initiated by Dr Sachin Modgil, Associate Professor (Operations and Supply Chain), IMI Kolkata for bringing forth this social welfare for a good cause, and the Station Master of Majherhat Railway Station for his cooperation in executing this cleanliness drive.

MAH MBA CAP Round 2 Option Filling Process 2026 Closes Today: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will close the MAH MBA CAP Round 2 option filling process today, August 9, 2026. Candidates who want to secure a seat via the CAP Round 2 but have yet to fill out the choices should visit the official website: mba2026.mahacet.org.in and complete the process on or before the last date. To exercise the CAP Round 2 options, the candidates should log in to their accounts using the login credentials such as the Application ID and Password. After that, the authority will release the MAH MBA CAP Round 2 provisional seat allotment result on August 12, 2026.

CAT 2026 Registration: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has officially opened the online registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026. Candidates seeking admission into postgraduate management programmes across the 22 IIMs and over 1,000 top B-schools in India, including FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, and the IITs, can now fill out their applications on the official portal at iimcat.ac.in. The application window will remain active until September 15, 2026, at 5 PM. The computer-based entrance examination is scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 29, 2026, across three sessions in nearly 170 test cities nationwide.

TG ICET 2026 Phase 1 Registration: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will close the TG ICET 2026 Phase 1 counselling processing fee payment and seat booking window today, August 5, 2026. The candidates who are qualified in the TG ICET 2026 and wish to take admission in the MBA and MCA courses that are available in the universities and affiliated colleges in Telangana need to register themselves through the official counselling website, tgicet.nic.in. The candidates who are not able to register today will lose the chance of being able to take part in the first phase of counselling. Meanwhile, the web options entry window will continue until August 8, while the Phase 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on or before August 11, 2026.
