There are different types of scholarships offered by International Management Institute Kolkata, among which the tuition fee waiver scholarship is quite popular. The eligibility criteria for each IMI Kolkata scholarships are different. International Management Institute Kolkata scholarships include the tuition fee waiver scholarship for students with excellent academic records to date. This scholarship will be sanctioned for the first year after the enrolment of the student in their preferred programme. The performance of the student after completion of the first year will be reviewed for a renewal of a 100% tuition fee waiver for the second year. The seats reserved for it will not exceed 5% of the total intake for the year. Students need to apply to the admission office to avail the benefits under this IMI Kolkata tuition fee waiver scholarship scheme.

Students with a minimum of 80% in Class X, XII and first class throughout their academic career along with a score of more than 90 percentile in CAT/XAT or more than 650 in GMAT relevant to the current year will be eligible to apply for the same. However, selection for the 100% tuition waiver scheme will be based on academic excellence and performance in the personal interview. Students availing of the scheme at IMI Kolkata are required to maintain a CGPA of 8 or above to avail of the benefit throughout their two years’ course of study. The grant of this tuition fee waiver scheme is based on some documents and the merit list published by the institute prior to their admission.

• Certificate of Undertaking- provided by the students
• Income certificate of the family (the annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 8 Lakh)
• PAN card
• Validation of income-related documents by local govt authorities like the counsellor
• Self-declaration certificate stating all the shared information to be true to the student's knowledge
• Letter from the office of the Sub Divisional Officer

International Management Institute Kolkata interim scholarships does not exceed Rs 1 Lakh for the two-year period to a maximum of 3 students per batch enrolled in the institute. This IMI Kolkata scholarship scheme is given on the basis of the student's academic performance post completion of their first year as well as considering their financial circumstances.
