IISER Thiruvananthapuram admission 2024 to all courses is ongoing. The admissions are provided based on the scores of the entrance exam and qualifying exam. Admission to BS + MS and BS is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main session 1 application is expected to start by November 2024 and the exam is expected to be held by the last week of January 2025 and JEE Advanced exam is expected to be held by the 3rd week of May 2025. IISER Thiruvananthapuram fee for BS+MS and BS course is Rs 3,21,000.

July 13, 2025Arthropod Ecology & Taxonomy Workshop Announcement - IISER Thiruvananthapuram, in partnership with Indica School of Field Ecology and Conservation, National Centre for Biological Sciences, is organizing a 14-day course on Arthropod Ecology & Taxonomy. Applications are currently open, and the deadline is 15 July 2025. Participants will gain hands-on skills in field sampling techniques and laboratory-based identification, focusing on major arthropod groups such as ants, spiders, beetles, and more. The course includes lectures, fieldwork, lab sessions, and group discussions, exploring topics like arthropod biodiversity and ecological interactions. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a practical taxonomic skill set and an ecological framework essential for arthropod-focused research.
