August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.

Non-GATE candidates are also welcome to apply. The last date to register is 18/08/2025 by 17:00 Hrs, and the Spot Round will take place on 20/08/2025. Candidates must fill out the registration form online. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference, while non-GATE candidates will take an Institute Level Entrance Exam on the same day. The exam will consist of technical questions based on the GATE syllabus and general ability questions. Selected candidates will undergo document verification and fee payment of Rs. 112,150/- at IIIT-NR. A list of required documents for verification is provided.
