Hostel: The hostel services at our college is good with a whole dedicated building for hostel the charges also are average and this hostel facilities are good than any other college also the accessibility is also great as it is very near to the college

Overall: Along with academics, KJSIEIT is also good for a student's overall development as it has more than 30+ technical and nontechnical committees. All kinds of sports facilities are provided in KJ Somaiya, sion. Also, the IT department of KJSIEIT has some additional benefits like there is a separate building for IT dept. with new infrastructure and the latest machines, project guides here help you to turn your ideas into reality, the main focus here is innovation, many seminars, and hands-on workshops are arranged for students based on their interests, and labs are open for students even after college working hours so students can use machines to complete their projects or do any kind of work they want. This college has a good percentage of students placed in the IT department. The highest salary package was this time around 13 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA.

Placement: A good percentage of around 80-85% students are placed in the IT department. The highest Salary package was 13.5 LPA average salary is about 6-7 LPA. But mainly college provides excellent internship opportunities every break period.

Infrastructure: New infrastructure with latest machines, a separate building for IT department with excellent labs. All classes and labs are always open after college hours for students to utilize either to complete work/projects or extracurriculars.

Faculty: Always super helpful faculty and teachers, have really good attitude, quality and approach to guide. The Curriculum is very up-to-date. Industry-required and based electives are offered as per the student's pursuit of interests.

Overall: KJSIT is an autonomous institute which gives the college the opportunity to design the curriculum with keeping the latest industry trends in mind. Also, the faculties are really very supportive and ensures an all round development of the students. The Department of Information Technology is the best. The faculties of IT department are always helping out students with their issues no matter what time it is. The Department of IT believes in Project Based Learning and are developing some awesome projects which are in use in real world, be it a Load Prediction app for Tata power, Health care app for ASHA workers in Sholapur district, etc. Also, the culture and respect among students in KJSIT is really good. The seniors are always willing to help their juniors.

Placement: Companies like Jio, Accenture, Cognizant, Media.net, IDFC First bank, Seclore, etc visited this year (2022-23) for campus placement. The highest package for this year was 13.8 LPA where as the average package was 4.5 LPA

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. KJSIT has all the required softwares and lab equipments ro build some good innovative Projects. The ambiance is also really nice. Department of IT has its separate building.

Faculty: The Head of the department, Dr. Radhika Kotecha ma'am who has been my project guide since second year is the best mentor one could ever get. She has been more than just a project guide to me, igniting my research mindset, encouraging me to put my learnings to innovate good projects especially making a societal contributions. From mentoring me to win the "National Award" to become a Gold Medalist at State Level Research Convention, going beyond the typical working hours and guiding me throughout even if it's 2 AM. The whole department has been very supportive of whatever I wanted to pursue and achieve and I'm very thankful to every faculty, lab staff and especially HOD ma'am as well as Principal Sir and the Institute for giving me the opportunity and shaping me to be a better engineer and learn something everyday, every moment.

Hostel: Hostel facilities are available in 2 campus es, Vidyavihar and Ayurvihar. New hostel building is developed in Ayurvihar campus which also comprises of Hospital, football fields and a physiotherapy hospital

Overall: The college overall is decent. It is what you will expect from a tier-III college in Mumbai. The infrastructure is good and clean. The faculty are knowledgeable.

Placement: There were a few good companies that came to the college this year. IDFC, Deloitte India, Reliance, etc. IDFC gave the highest package by far 13.5CTC which is very good considering the college ranking.

Infrastructure: The IT department has a new building which is extremely pretty. Plenty of natural sunlight. It is a joy to sit in the open canteen that has been made. A break form the suffocating urban landscape.

Faculty: The faculty in the college are quite okay. A couple of the faculty in the IT department are brilliant, If you have the opportunity to work under them it will be a very good enhancement to your career.

Hostel: The Sion campus has a new hostel. It is very modern and elegant to look at. I do not stay in the hostel so cannot give a very detailed view about these facilities but my fellow students find the facilities decent.

Overall: KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology's IT department provided me with an exceptional education and valuable industry exposure. The knowledgeable faculty, excellent infrastructure, and strong industry connections prepared me for success in the IT field. The college's focus on holistic development, inclusive campus life, and decent placement rate make it a top choice for aspiring students. Overall: KJSIEIT is accredited with grade ’A’ by NAAC and also several programs are accredited by NBA. KJSIEIT is one of the best institutes under the University of Mumbai and the institute offers BE in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication and ME in Data Science & AI

Overall: K.J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) is located in Sion, Mumbai. KJSIEIT College is nearer Sion as well as chunabhatti railway station. Also the colleges connected to the highway. Hence the students can travel easily by any means of transport.

Overall: KJSIEIT is approved by AICTE and DTE. It is accridited by NAAC and permanently affiliated to Mumbai University. Overall student life is full of enjoyment.

Overall: All in all, it is a great college that mainly contributes to the growth and overall development of the students in all aspects. The students here are always approachable and helpful towards each other. Our college provides the best platform for a student's personality development, team management skills and communication skills as it gives them the opportunity to be a part of many globally recognized committees and councils. I enjoyed my experience here and would highly recommend it to others.

Overall: KJSIEIT is a college in the Mumbai city having two stations sion and chunabhati to reach over there. the fees are decent and is a true value for money. the campus life is what it is best for. vast campus lots of grounds for various outdoor activities.

Placement: The placement process is quite good. Every year many well-known companies come to our college to hire students. our College has an efficient, hard-working, and dedicated placement committee for the students. All placements and internships are taken care of by the committee. They are always approachable for all job-related issues.

Overall: The atmosphere at KJSIEIT is very calm and good. The teachers here are very interactive and helpful to students. A large number of opportunities awaits here. All round development of students takes place. The infrastructure is well maintained. The college is easy to reach. Many fests and activities are carried out by various committees in which students actively take part. The college also helps us in preparing for training, placements and higher studies. Students are encouraged to take part in nontechnical activities as well.

Overall: Myself Ritesh Sandbhor student of KJSIEIT IT Department Final year. Kjsieit has a nice campus full of greenery and a cheerful environment. To get here there are two options either from Sion or Chunabatti. From Chunabatti it is a 10-minute walk whereas from Sion it is a bit far, you can take a rickshaw or walk for 20 minutes. The best option is Chunabatti. Talking about academics, all teachers have highly qualified most of them to have a PHD and they are very down to earth and we can approach them anytime. They will always welcome us and clear our doubts. Also, the placements are quite good. If u have a decent pointer u can easily get placed. Accenture is the mass recruiter. Many other companies like LTI, Infosys, TCS. Also, various communication companies like Reliance Jio and Vodafone also hire here. So if u are decent with ur studies placement won't be an issue. Overall it's a great college with more future opportunities.

Infrastructure: It has a fabulous infrastructure with ac labs and lecture rooms with highly updated technologies. The auditorium has high capacities.many grounds to play.

Faculty: Most of the faculties have a PhD. Faculties are supportive and helpful. They are always available at any time to help the needy. They help in projects as well as accademics

Hostel: The rooms are airy and pleasant. Food is available 4 times a day.is tasty and healthy. they're many facilities available here also its strict about the timings

Overall: The Institute is accredited with grade ’A’ by NAAC and also several programs are accredited by NBA. Placement: Around 200+ companies participate in KJSIEIT placement process every year, including Reliance JIO , Vodafone, Eureka Forbes, Accenture, Media Net, AWS, Fintellix, Pinclick, MU Sigma among others.last year 100% of the IT department students were placed and overall 80-90% of the students got placed in the companies with an average package of around 5 LPA. The maximum package is of 13 LPA and the minimum package is around 4 LPA.There are training and placement sessions which help the students to face the interviews. Training on how to solve the aptitude tests and face group discussions is given also various guest sessions and continuous encouragement toward inhouse or outhouse internships has boosted placement percentile by 20 to 30%.

Infrastructure: Sports is highly encouraged as well,having a football field,football turf,a classy cricket ground,a skating rink and not to forget the indoor games as well. The college cultural fest and technical fest proves to be a cherry on the cake in a students engineering life.I am currently pursuing B.E. IT from KJSIEIT. Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they are always available to help us. They plan the schedule in a very effective way. They have good knowledge of their subjects, both practical and theoretical. The course curriculum is relevant, and it mainly focuses on what industry demands. Almost every student in the IT department gets placed every year due to the valuable guidance of the Training and placements officers.

Faculty: the faculty is supportive and experienced. The faculty also helps students get internships in the second and third years so it will help boost students’ resumes. The college also provides finishing school course that helps students prepare for their placements.

Hostel: I am currently pursuing B.E. IT from KJSIEIT. Teachers in our college are very helpful, and they are always available to help us. They plan the schedule in a very effective way.
