Manav Bharti University, or MBU for short, was founded in the academic year of 2008. It is a Himachal Pradesh State Private University created with the sanction of the state legislature. University Grants Commission, All India Council for Technical Education, Pharmacy Council of India, and Bar Council of India have all approved the university. The university strives for its students' complete growth.

Because of its tranquil settings, the university's infrastructure is particularly remarkable. Despite its steep location, the institution can provide its students with all the fundamental services and facilities. Classrooms are constructed such that many pupils may be accommodated at one time.

The rooms are well decorated and well-kept. Wifi is available across the campus. Boys' and girls' hostels are available for students outside the city. Laboratories are outfitted with cutting-edge technology to aid students in their learning. The library includes contemporary editions of literature in all specialties. The books are educational and include all relevant information on any given topic. Sports facilities are remarkable, and several sporting events are held each year.

Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Humanities are the six faculties that provide undergraduate and graduate programs. The Directorate of Distance Education at the University also provides several courses. In addition to normal lessons, it hosts conferences, workshops, industrial visits, and management games to expose students to the sector. The University's campus is equipped with a gym, medical and health care services, sports facilities, activities area, canteen, smart classrooms, auditorium, labs, library, wifi, transportation, and separate dorms for boys and girls with 24-hour security.

Aside from the collaborations, the University has international collaborations with institutions such as Sprott Shaw College, Semey Shakarim State University (UAE), Chifley Business School Pty Ltd, Semey State Medical University, The Global Institution for Management & Leadership, University of Wasit, University of Mustansiria, and others.

The Manav Bharti University courses offers eight undergraduate programs: BTech, BTech (LE), BCA, BBA, BPharma, BA LLB, BA, and BCom. BTech and BPharma are four-year programs, whereas BA LLB is a five-year integrated degree. Other undergraduate programs last three years. It provides MBA, LLB, MA, and MCom programs at the postgraduate level. The LLB program takes three years to complete, whereas other postgraduate programs take two years. In addition, the University provides LLM, DPharma, D.El.Ed, and School of Pharmacy programs. The length of these programs varies depending on the course. BA has 60 seats, BCA has 60 seats, BBA has 60 seats, B.Pharm has 100 seats, B.Com has 60 seats, and BA LLB has 120 seats at Manav Bharti University.

Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination with appropriate subjects with a minimum of 45 percent for admission to BA, BA LLB, BCA, BBA, B.Pharm, and B.Com. Candidates having a D.Pharm degree are eligible to apply for B.Pharm Lateral Entry.

Manav Bharti university B.Pharm Admission to  is determined by the UPSEE, whereas the CLAT determines admission to BA LLB. Admission is also based on the MBU Entrance Test, which the university administers.
 

Eligibility Table

Manav Bharti University provides 60 seats in M. Com, 60 seats in MBA, 60 seats in MCA, 120 seats in MA in two specializations, 300 seats in LLB, 15 seats in M.Pharm, and 40 seats in LLM.

Candidates for admission to MA, MCA, MBA, and LLB programs must have completed a bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline with 50% marks. A candidate for Manav Bharti University admission M.Pharm must have finished B.Pharm with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates for LLM admission must have passed LLB with a grade point average of 50%. Candidates having a minimum of 50% in their BCA or PGDCA degree can apply for lateral admission into the MCA program.

The CAT/MAT is used to determine MBA admission. CLAT determines admission to LLB and LLM programs, whereas GPAT determines entrance to Manav Bharti University M.Pharm programs. The MBU Entrance Test is also used to determine admission to the courses.

• M.Com admission is also open to those having an MA or M.Sc. degree.
• MBA admission is also open to those having a B.Tech degree.

Manav Bharti University Diploma courses are also available. The D. Pharm and D. El. The D.Ed degrees provided by MBU have a total sanctioned intake of 60 and 100 students.
 

• Candidates for admission to the D.Pharm program must have completed senior secondary school with a cumulative grade point average of at least 45 percent.
• Candidates for D. El. Ed admission must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50%.
• Manav Bharti  University Admission is based on the students' performance in the previous qualifying examination.

The Manav Bharti University (MBU) is located 35 km from Kalka Railway and 65 km from Chandigarh on Kumarhatti Sultanpur Road in Solan (H.P). It is 6 km away from NH-22. It is located in the rural area of the Himachal district in Solan. The serene and lush green environment makes the campus an eloquent and hustle-free knowledge center. The university is designed to provide a peaceful environment for learning purposes. It has large administrative blocks with fully furnished classrooms and the latest equipment. It consists of classrooms, lecture halls, and seminar halls along with a sound amplifying system. There are 7 large blocks with 6 stories each for academics, workshops, library, and administration.

The Manav Bharti University campus has everything a student will need for their overall development. The University believes in providing the students with the best environment for learning and the most advanced infrastructure for professional growth. The Manav University campushouses schools and special centers, classrooms complexes, student, faculty, and residential staff quarters, a healthcare center operational 24 hours, and an administration block. In addition, the campus is well equipped with a sports ground for indoor and outdoor games, a gym, ATM, library, mess, and shopping facilities.
 

• Hostel – Manav Bharti University hostel is spacious and well-furnished, with the availability of a large dining hall. There are 800 beds in the boy's hostel. It has shared rooms. There are 800 beds in the shared rooms. Hostel's recreational facilities include TVs, health clubs, indoor games, and PCOs. Each hostel has its live-in wardens and a faculty member administering the accommodation. It is to be noted that admission to Manav Bharti University hostel doesn't ensure guaranteed hostel accommodation due to the limited capacity of the hostels. Manav Bharti university (MBU) offers accommodation to the applicants based on different factors. For example, there are 2 hostels available for both girls and boys. 
• Manav Bharti University (MBU) has furnished accommodation allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is available on a sharing basis(2-4 per room) at Rs. 2500 per month. In the institute's proximity (5-10 minutes walking distance). Hostel accommodation is compulsory for the first-year students except for local students staying with their parents. It has well-ventilated rooms that create and enhance a pleasant feeling and mood. The wifi in the hostel and PC connection enables the student to complete their tasks on time. The respective male and female wardens manage the hostels. There is 24-hour security for each hostel block. The university also provides a solar water heating system and electricity backup with a dedicated inverter. It also provides a reverse osmosis water purification system/Aqua guard for drinking water. The University hostel has a fixed timing and strict discipline for the residents. There is a mini ambulance for emergency services for the students and is available 24 hours.
   
• Gym - Gymnasium is part of Manav Bharti University (MBU) campus facilities. Students can take care of their health and fitness by using this gymnasium facility provided by the University. The gym is well equipped with exercise and training equipment. The gym helps the students to stay fit and healthy.
• Sports – The Manav Bharti University (MBU) campus has outdoor and indoor games facilities for students' recreation, including basketball, badminton, tennis courts, cricket, and football grounds. The campus sports ground also has a running track. University also promotes sports like weight-lifting, taekwondo, trekking, and mountaineering. The University encourages sports on and off the campus through outdoor training and picnics organized frequently. It has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. It encourages sports through a competitive spirit via outdoor training and picnics organized frequently. It has in-house facilities for sports like carom, table tennis, chess, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis lawn, etc.

• Cafeteria – The air-conditioned cafeteria facilities provided by MBU include Chinese, Indian, and south Indian cuisines. There is another split cafeteria available for coffee and snacks on the campus. 

• Auditorium – MBU has auditoriums, Lecture Halls, Committee Hall, Committee rooms, and Training Rooms. These all are used for academic talks, conferences, seminars, slide and film shows, demonstrations, lectures, workshops, etc. The classrooms are well lighted, airy, and well equipped with remote control LCD multimedia projectors, a public address system, collar, and cordless microphones, computers, and RFID systems for identity cards. The university is planning to launch a biometric system all over the campus. The air-conditioned auditorium is under construction, accommodating 300 students to conduct Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, and Screening training films with Synchronised LCDs, a sound system, and internet.
   
• Medical/ Hospital - The Health Centre at MBU, right from its inception, has been striving to provide comprehensive health care, i.e., preventive, curative, and promotive services, to students only. However, for University staff, there is also a CGHS dispensary on the campus.
   
• Wifi – The University has high-speed wifi connectivity in all laboratories, libraries, hostels, auditoriums and seminar halls, and even guest houses. The campus has been using the new standard for next-generation wireless technology for wifi networks so that the teachers, students, and support staff can easily access the data, voice, multimedia, and video conferencing services and research, e-learning, and business applications. The campus has wifi internet connectivity. Students are encouraged to maximize their learning and computer skills by constantly using their laptops for research, making notes, submissions, and presentations.
• IT Infrastructure – MBUhas set up facilities for in-house use of E-mail, Computers, and internet services for all students, project staff, and faculty members. This unit of the University offers a variety of E-services to the students in literature search, computation, and graphics.
   
• Laboratories – Manav Bharti University laboratories are air-conditioned and equipped with various modern instrumental facilities related to all the fields. They are sophisticated but well-equipped, where more than 40 students can perform their experiments simultaneously. 
   
• Convenience stores –The MBU campus has a few departmental stores to facilitate students' daily shopping.
• Alumni Associations – MBU is proud to have a collective of more than 80,000 alumni. • Transport: The university's network of buses covers all the nearby areas and townships lying within a radius of 50 km.
