Mewar University MA : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2026

Overall The campus has sports facilities for different games like cricket, badminton, football, etc. Intercollege competitions were held on our campus. The nearest city to the university is Gangrar where we used to go shopping. We were not allowed to go anywhere after 7 pm due to tight security. Transportation facilities were available like buses, auto taxis, etc. The campus has a peaceful environment. The faculty is highly professional and educated. They helped us solve our problems and motivated us to participate in different activities. 80-100 companies visit every year for placements and internships are also provided.

Placement During the Mewar University placement in 2022, I obtained a good offer. Hailing from an educational background, I aspired to be a professor. I also began studying for the NET exam in the last year of my programme and passed it. With the help of my subject knowledge and the cooperation of the Mewar University professors, I got the position of Assistant Professor at a decent college. Some of my friends from other departments were hired by companies such as Infosys, CEAT, Hitachi, Just Dial, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure I lived at MU for two years and liked the campus environment. MU has different blocks for departments which have been maintained quite well. There are hostels for boys and girls, labs, libraries, seminar halls, staff rooms, and sports facilities. Wifi is available on the campus. The girl's hostel rooms were nice and the food was of good quality. There is a guest house for visiting people on campus.

Faculty The number of professors in the English department is not much. My batch has around 100 students and 7-8 teachers. The course curriculum of MA in English was quite good. I studied English, Indian, and American revolutions in the English language. There were four main subjects including prose, poetry, drama and fiction. Learning about different authors, poets, and essayists of different eras was interesting. The faculty members were qualified and helped us throughout the course.

Hostel The location of the campus is far from Chittorgarh City so, I had to live in the hostel of the university. The hostel for girls is newly constructed and has spacious rooms. The food is good and hygienic. We get breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. We are not allowed to eat in our rooms. Warden is strict and does not let us go outside after the evening. The fees is Rs 1 Lakh for one year and caution is also charged during admission.
