Mody University Scholarships 2025 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Mody University recognizes the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Government of Indi,a for UG and PG programs. The CUET Scholarship for admission to UG and PG programs for the Session 2025-26 is notified as under:

Alumni Fee Waiver Policy to Promote Higher Education

Students of Mody University or Mody School seeking admission to Mody University after qualifying for a degree/diploma/10+2 will be awarded an additional 10% scholarship on the 1st-year tuition fee, over and above any merit-based scholarships earned.

Sibling Fee Waiver

• Mody University offers an additional 10% fee waiver on the 1st-year tuition fee to one of the siblings studying at Mody University.
• This fee waiver continues even after the other sibling graduates.

Fee Waiver for Students from Shekhawati Region (Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu District)

• 10% fee waiver on tuition fees is granted for the entire duration of the course to students domiciled in the Shekhawati region.

Fee Waiver for EWS/SC/ST/PH or Other Government Reserved Categories

• Mody University provides a 10% fee waiver on tuition fees for the entire duration of the course for students belonging to EWS, SC, ST, PH, or any other government-reserved categories.

Fee Waiver under Armed Forces Educational Welfare Scheme (For Wards of Defense and Police Personnel

As a tribute to defense and police personnel, Mody University offers the following fee waivers:

• 50% waiver of yearly tuition fee for martyrs’ wards and widows.
• 35% waiver of yearly tuition fee for wards of serving and retired defense personnel.
• 25% waiver of yearly tuition fee for wards of serving and retired police personnel.
• This fee waiver applies for the entire duration of the course.

Criteria for Continuation of Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships: Students must maintain a minimum 8.0 CGPA in regular year exams at the first attempt with no backlog, no disciplinary action, and 75% attendance; otherwise, the scholarship will be discontinued.

Scholarship scheme swapping is not allowed.

Multiple scholarships cannot be availed simultaneously, except for the special category fee waivers under points A & B.

If eligible for multiple scholarships, the student may choose the best scholarship offered.

If eligible for both merit and special scholarships, all criteria must be met to retain both benefits.

If merit scholarship eligibility is lost, only the special scholarship will continue the following year.

For renewal of special scholarships (except EWS/SC/ST/PH), students must have no backlog, no disciplinary action, and 75% attendance.

If a scholarship is discontinued for non-compliance but the student meets criteria again later, they may reapply; however, they will receive only 50% of the previously sanctioned scholarship for the subsequent year.

Mody University scholarships are provided for students with merit and need. The MU Sikar scholarship is also available for students belonging to the family of martyrs from Rajasthan and for students whose family members are in the defence sector. To receive scholarships provided by MU Sikar, students need to follow some rules and regulations, which are provided below.

Scholarship Scheme for All Undergraduate Courses based on 12th Exam Scores (CBSE / ICSE / IB / Other Equivalent Govt. Recognized Boards)

Note: Scholarship eligibility will be determined based on the following criteria for calculating the marks percentage:

For B.Tech. Programs: The aggregate percentage of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/B) will be considered for scholarship evaluation as per the eligibility norms.

For Other Programs: The aggregate percentage of marks will be calculated based on two core subjects, two relevant subjects related to the program applied for, and one language subject.
