Mody University of Science & Technology offers scholarships and fee waivers covering up to 100% of the first-year academic fee for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. These awards are based on academic merit in qualifying examinations such as Class XII board results or undergraduate degree percentage, as well as scores in national-level entrance exams including JEE Main, NEET, CUET, CAT, GATE, and CLAT. The university also provides dedicated fee waivers for wards of defence, paramilitary, and police personnel, with waivers ranging from 35% to 50%. Additional support is available for students from the Shekhawati region, SC/ST/EWS/PH categories, alumni wards, siblings of current students, and residents of Salasar, Khatu, and Jeenmata villages. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UG STUDENTS

• Special Category Fee Waivers (Category C): Supporting specific demographics, including siblings, alumni wards, and residents of the Shekhawati region.
• Defence & Police Personnel (Category D): Honoring the service of our nation’s protectors by offering dedicated financial aid to their children.
• Continued Education Excellence (Category E): Encouraging lifelong learning for alumni of Mody School or Mody University who wish to pursue higher studies within the institution.

•  Scholarships are sanctioned exclusively at the time of admission. Please note that these awards are valid for the first year only and are not eligible for carry-forward or renewal in subsequent academic years.

UG Academic Merit Scholarship (Category A)

This scholarship is open to students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) from any recognized board in India or abroad, or hold a Diploma in Pharmacy / Polytechnic (10+3) from a recognized institution. The scholarship covers a portion of the 1st year academic fee, based on marks in the best three core subjects (relevant to the chosen program) plus one language subject.

Scholarship slabs — based on aggregate %

How marks are calculated: Aggregate % is based on the best three core subjects required for your chosen program + one language subject. Core subjects follow program-specific eligibility (e.g., PCM for engineering, PCB for science).

Note: For the purpose of awarding Academic Merit Scholarships, the percentage of marks shall be calculated based on the aggregate of the best three core subjects relevant to the chosen program and one language subject, as prescribed for that program. The selection of core subjects will strictly follow the program-specific eligibility criteria (e.g., PCM or PCB).

•  The CUET score shall be considered on a cumulative basis only; subject -wise scores will not be evaluated or considered separately. Annexure 1 will be considered for calculating marks.
• CUET score is not applicable for BTech courses.

Mody University provides a 10% scholarship on Academic Fees for the first year of the program to students qualifying under the following categories:

1) Alumni Ward & Sibling Scholarship

Designed to support our extended university family. This waiver applies to:

Wards of Alumni: Children of Mody University or Mody School graduates.

Siblings: Real sisters of alumni or currently enrolled students at Mody University/Mody School.

2) Shekhawati Region Domicile Waiver

To encourage local talent, a fee waiver is offered to students residing in the Shekhawati Region, covering the following districts:

Sikar

Churu

Jhunjhunu

3) Government Reserved Category Support

In alignment with our commitment to inclusive education, a waiver is extended to students belonging to the following categories (valid certificate required):

EWS (Economically Weaker Section)

SC/ST (Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe)

PH (Physically Handicapped)

Any other category covered under Government Reservation policies.

4) Special Village Residency Scholarship

A dedicated scholarship for residents of specific local heritage villages. To qualify, students must provide a Domicile Certificate from:

• All special category scholarships are applicable for the 1st year only.

Mody University fee waiver upto 50% for the wards of Defence and Police personnels, with an extra 20% benefit for the alumni Scholarships are non-renewable and strictly on a first-year basis and are offered as per the eligibility and admission norms

UG Defence & Police Personnel (Category D)

• Applicable for alumni of Mody School or Mody University pursuing higher studies at the university
• Offers an additional 20% scholarship on academic fee
• Applicable over and above Category A or B scholarship, if eligible
• Alumni not qualifying under Category A or B will still receive a flat 20% scholarship
• Benefit is applicable only on the 1st year academic fee
• Subject to meeting prescribed eligibility criteria and institutional norms

Note:

1. Single Scholarship Rule: Only one scholarship shall be awarded to a student from Category A, B, C, or D, whichever is most beneficial to the student.
2. Validity of Scholarship: Scholarships shall be sanctioned only once at the time of admission and shall not be carried forward or renewed in subsequent academic years.
3. Maximum Scholarship Limit: Under no circumstances shall the total cumulative scholarship and/or fee waiver exceed 100% of the academic fee.
4. Mode of Disbursement: The approved scholarship amount shall be disbursed during the academic fee for first year.
5. CGPA Calculation: Conversion of CGPA to percentage, wherever applicable, shall be carried out strictly as per the official equivalence formula certified by the concerned College/University.
6. Exclusion from Scholarship: Scholarships shall not be applicable to candidates seeking admission through transfer, lateral entry, or direct admission to the second year under any program, other than LEET and Diploma (Polytechnic, 10+3) or Diploma (Pharmacy).
7. Admission and Scholarship Award Process: Admission to Mody University of Science & Technology shall be based on the candidate’s performance in the prescribed written examination (if not appeared in any national level examination) and interview. Scholarships shall be awarded only after completion of the admission process, verification of eligibility, submission of all required documents, and successful clearance of the written examination (if not appeared in any national level examination) and interview.

• Academic Merit (Category A): Based on the candidate's aggregate percentage in their Undergraduate (UG) degree.
• National Level Entrance Exams (Category B): Awarded to students who have secured high percentiles or ranks in national exams such as GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or CUET-PG.
• Special Category Fee Waivers (Category C): Includes 10% fee waivers for siblings, students from the Shekhawati region (Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu), and those from reserved or disadvantaged categories (EWS/SC/ST/PH).
• Defence & Police Personnel (Category D): Dedicated financial support for the children of those serving in India’s Defence and Police forces.
• Institutional Continuity (Category E): Exclusive benefits for alumni of Mody School or Mody University who choose to continue their academic journey at Mody University of Science & Technology.

PG Academic Merit Scholarship (Category A)

For the Academic Year 2026-2027, Mody University offers scholarships to postgraduate students based on their undergraduate performance. These merit-based awards apply exclusively to the first-year academic fee for qualifying candidates.

PG Scholarship Based on National Entrance Exams (Category B)

For the Academic Year 2026-2027, Mody University offers merit-based scholarships for MBA and other PG programs. Eligibility is determined by performance in national-level entrance examinations including CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GATE, CLAT, and CUET-PG.

Mody University offers a 10% scholarship on the first-year academic fee for students meeting the criteria in any of the following special categories:

C.1) Alumni Ward & Sibling Scholarship

Applicable for wards (children) of Mody University or Mody School alumni.

Available for siblings of alumni or siblings of students currently enrolled at Mody University or Mody School.

C.2) Shekhawati Region Domicile Waiver

Offered to students residing in the Shekhawati region.

Covers the districts of Sikar, Churu, and Jhunjhunu.

C.3) Government Reserved Category Support

Available for students belonging to EWS, SC, ST, or PH categories.

• 50% Fee Waiver: Awarded to wards of Martyrs or personnel who died in service (attributable).

Applicable for wards of personnel disabled in action or disabled in service (attributable).

Available to wards of Gallantry Award recipients within the Defence, Paramilitary, and Police forces.

• 35% Fee Waiver: Awarded to wards of currently serving personnel.

Available to wards of ex-servicemen from the Defence, Paramilitary, and Police forces.

Mody University of Science & Technology offers a dedicated 20% scholarship on the first-year academic fee for alumni of Mody School or Mody University who choose to continue their higher education journey within the institution.

• Stackable Benefits: Eligible alumni receive an additional 20% waiver over and above any scholarship secured under Category A (Merit) or Category B (Entrance Exams).
• Guaranteed Base Scholarship: Alumni who do not qualify for merit-based scholarships under Category A or B are still entitled to a standalone 20% fee waiver.
• Scope of Application: This benefit applies strictly to the 1st-year Academic Fee, provided the candidate meets the prescribed admission eligibility and institutional norms.

Important Scholarship Guidelines and Policies

To ensure transparency and proper application of awards, the following institutional rules apply to all categories (A, B, C, D, and E):

• Single Scholarship Rule: Students may only claim one scholarship from Categories A, B, C, or D. The university will automatically apply the category that provides the highest financial benefit to the student.

• Exclusions: Scholarships are not available for students seeking admission through transfer, lateral entry, or direct admission to the second year.
• Award Process: Final scholarship approval is subject to the completion of the admission process, document verification, and successful performance in the university's written examination (if applicable) and personal interview.

This scholarship is designed to reward continued academic excellence for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students. Unlike admission scholarships, this award is determined annually based on the student's performance in the preceding academic year at Mody University.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship from the second year onwards, students must meet the following requirements:

• Academic Standing: The student must have no back papers (arrears) in the preceding academic year.
• Conduct: The student must have a clean record with no disciplinary action taken against them.
• Merit: The student must achieve the minimum required Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) as outlined below.

• Applicability of Scheme: This provision shall be applicable to students who have been granted scholarships under Category A, B, C, D or E.
• Consideration of Previously Ineligible Students (at the time of admission): Students who were granted any scholarship or not granted any scholarship at the time of admission due to ineligibility may also be considered for this scholarship, provided they subsequently fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria.
• Verification and Approval: The scholarship amount shall be verified and approved by the Registrar Mody University of Science & Technology.
• Adjustment of Scholarship Amount: Upon approval by the Registrar, the sanctioned scholarship amount shall be adjusted against the academic fee of the 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters, as applicable.
