CLAT 2027 registration is expected to start in August 2026 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. The official notification is likely to be released in July 2026, and the examination is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on December 6, 2026.
CLAT 2026 Third Merit List for admission to the 5-year integrated law programmes has been announced. Candidates can download the seat allotment list from the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates must complete the freeze or float options and pay the confirmation fee by March 6, 2026, while the deadline for submitting the university fees is April 24, 2026.
National Law University Cuttack has ranked 30th in NIRF Ranking 2023 in the Law category. Founded in 2009, the National Law University Odisha is one significant addition to the national law universities of India. The university was set up by Act 4, 2008 by the Odisha State Legislature and commenced its journey from the academic year 2009-10. It has been receiving grants under the XIIth plan after getting recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) since then. All the degrees including B.ALL.B, B.B.ALL.B, LL.M, M.Phil, Ph.D are recognised by the Bar Council of India. NLUO is a participant in the National Knowledge Network under the Indian Government's Ministry of Information Technology and Communication. It is also an associate member of the UGC-INFLIBNET.
