NIMS University Admissions Through Entrance Exams

NIMS University, Jaipur is one of the leading professional universities in India. There are 13 institutions in total under NIMS University. Through all the institutes above, NIMS offers more than 400 courses in a wide variety of fields, including Medicine, Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Management & Commerce, Humanities, Hotel Management, Law, Mass & Media, etc.

The university offers admissions to its courses at four levels - Diploma, UG, PG, and Doctoral levels. Admissions are done based on the marks obtained in respective board examinations and entrance examinations. The entire application process can be done either online or offline. Here is how:

NIMS university offline application: Through this mode, the candidate must visit NIMS university. After choosing the course, the candidate will be checked for eligibility. Once the candidate meets the eligibility criteria, the admission process starts. The candidate has to submit a passport-size photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), class X mark sheet, or any other qualifying exam mark sheet as applicable. Then the application fee of Rs 800 must be paid using a debit card/credit card /demand draft.
NIMS university online application: Candidates have to visit the official website of NIMS University. Click on the "Click to Apply" on the top-right side of the home page. You will be redirected to a new tab. After filling in the necessary details like email, phone number, and course details, you will be required to upload necessary documents in JPG, GIF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, PDF format. Then pay the application fee of Rs 800 using a debit card/credit card.

NIMS offers a few courses only based on the common entrance examinations. Such courses are:

B. Arch – NATA / JEE (paper 2)
DM and M. Ch – NEET SS
MBBS and BDS – NEET UG

NIMS university offers most of its popular courses based on the performance of the candidates in the NIMS entrance examination (NIMSEE). Some of the entrance examinations like CAT, GATE, JEE MAIN (paper 1) are also accepted for MBA, M. Tech, B. Tech programs, respectively.

NIMS International Admissions

Students who hold passports issued by foreign countries, People of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) having the nationality of foreign countries are considered as foreign or international students. Students who have passed the qualifying exam from foreign institutions are considered Non-Resident Indians (NRI).

The eligible candidates can visit the official website of NIMS and proceed to apply online. After filling and submitting the application form with the required fields, the candidate will be sent a letter of acknowledgment.

Upon successful verification and payment of the application fee, students will receive a Provisional Admission Letter and a Bonafide Certificate for obtaining a "Student VISA" or "Research VISA" endorsed to NIMS University Rajasthan based on the course selected.

Students are advised to report 2-3 days before the commencement of classes. There are a few other formalities like reporting to the Office of Directorate of Foreign Students, registering with the Foreigner's Registration Office (FRO).

B. Tech in NIMS University
