Overall: Very cool college in the Aravalli hills, with beautiful landscapes and serene beauty of the campus. The faculty is highly rated, hostel food is bad but manageable
Placement: Thats the reason i joined this college. The highest placement is good around 60LPA, with median around 15LPA. Placement in bio tech branch is poor, but students have lots of higher studies opportunity.
Infrastructure: All infra is new lecture hall, auditorium, OAT, hostels. Roads to the college are nice. THere are railway station and bus stand too which is quite nearby
Faculty: There is Dr. Radha who is great. She is the faculty of Electrical engineering. Teachers are helpful and have multiple foreign publications under their belt.
Hostel: The food offered in hostel is low standard and not up to the mark. A mouse was found earlier in the food 2 years back. TT and badminton courts are there in plenty.
Overall: Placements are also not so good. Faculty is experienced but don't attend classes.Talking about hostels they don't have good internet connection.Timing of girls are also very much .
Placement: Mostly students get placement of average per annum package . Placement of Nit kkr is average students get placed with a decent package . Training and placement cell Blacklist many companies as they offer less package So company coming are now less and offering job is also less .
Infrastructure: Hostel are ok they have all facilities but water problem is very much .Poor appliances are installed.Lane problem and wifi problem is very much .Mess is good.Talking about adminstration building it is very good and new.classes are also good and ac are present everywhere. Many plants are planted within the college lot of fruit plants. All hostel and college classes and building are clean and well maintained.
Faculty: Some of the faculty are very very nice .They put all their efforts to teach students .But some are extremely lazy and carefree they don't care about students they put pressure on students to do all the syllabus on their own . Keeping some of the faculty professors beside rest professors are nice and put efforts. As a student their I can say overall faculty is good.
Hostel: There are 4 girls hostel and 11 boys hostel .Girls have 2 mess .Mess staff is very rude they don't even let your parents to eat the meal in free they will charge extra money from you. Water coolers are not cleaned weekly Very much problem of water in washroom and bathroom . Timing is made for girls( 5 am -8:30 pm) .Boys Hostel have a lot of problem of wifi and lane not working .Ac of common room only in girls hostel are also not working sometimes.
Overall: In my point of view NIT Kurukshetra is better many north and north east NITs but still it has a lot to do for improvement of the college in the area of management , placement , hostels , infra , labs, etc. I think that is why NIRF ranking of the college decreasing in last two years continuously (from 40 to 60 in 2023). On the other hand, coming to the reviews , hostels and mess are average. Infra and facilities are good , academics and placements are also good here. Marking system , exam schedules and attendance criteria are better. CONFLUENCE is major cultural fest and TECHSPARDHA is major technical fest here and both are very good.
Placement: Placement scenario here is very good except last two years due to recession and layoff. Computer science and Information technology like branches get highest level of packages , average and median salary. Other than IT sector the core branches get average level of placement packages and percentages due to less number of companies in core sector . But mechanical , production and civil are decent branches here. I am attaching the last year placement stats.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college in my point of view is decent enough and better than many other NITs except top NITs. Library, ED Hall, Senate Hall, Jubilee Hall, Administrative building, Infinity corridor, Departments, LHC, MBA block, OAT, NIT market, AE Lawns, Moxie, Swimming Pool, NIT Lake, Sports Complex etc, are much more than average. And all of them are regularly maintained. These are the main infra of our college. I am attaching a beautiful picture of administrative building from side.
Faculty: Faculties here are very well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Professors are very humble and kind enough to the students and are helpful too except some of our senior professors who are fairly rude to students on most of the times. Attendance criteria of 75% is strictly followed by some professors.
Hostel: There are 12 boys hostels and 5 girls hostels here. Among boys hostels one of them are for PhD scholars and that hostel is very nice . Most of the hostels are in good condition. For first year B.Tech students , there are four seater rooms but from second year to final year students there are single seater rooms. WiFi and LAN are good in some hostels but are bad in some hostels. Mess foods are better than average quality in all hostels except Mega hostel .
Overall: This college is very well for B. Tech students because of placements, campus, faculty members, clubs and various events and fest and many of things there in this college to enhance students skills
Placement: Placement statistics of this college is very best in every branch.About 98-100% CS and IT students got placed and about 80-85% core branches students are placed in previous years. College also provide internship opportunities. Companies like Amazon, flipkart, airtel, idea, Microsoft and many which visits every year this college.
Infrastructure: Campus of this college is very big(about 300acres) and beautiful. For study here library and computer lab also there. And individual wifi facility also given for students . For any events and fest open air theatre (oat) which is very big.
Faculty: All faculty members of this college are well educated and their teaching method is also easy to understand. Their behaviour is also so kind and respectful. They are not very strict about discipline.
Hostel: Hostel facility is also good for students. In 1st year you have to share your room with other two members but from 2nd year you will single seater hostel. Mess food is not good in few hostels.
