FMS Delhi Final Placement Report 2020

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi witnessed 100 percent placement and saw the highest-ever-average CTC offer of Rs.25.6 lakh per annum during the final recruitment process for the batch of 2018-20. Rs.58.6 lakh was the highest annual salary package which was offered. There was a rise of 11 percent as compared to last year and the median package was Rs.23.4 lakh. 75% of the above offers were above Rs.20 lakh witj an average CTC of the top quartile at Rs. 37.3 lakh. The percentage of candidates who got placed in General Management and Strategy, Consulting was 33%. Some of the top recriters at the FMS placement process were Accenture, ABG, Airtel, Flipkart, EY etc.

FMS Placements 2018

The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at the Delhi University records another exceptional round of placement with various students bagging excellent salary packages. Out of the total of 225 students, 100 participated in the placement drive and 64 of them accepted the job offers rolled out on campus.

In 2018, FMS saw participation from the biggest pool of companies at the campus so far. The average salary package offered in 2018 was more than that offered last year. The highest domestic package also increased this year from Rs. 54 lakh per annum to Rs. 54.3 lakh per annum.

Though the average package and highest domestic package have increased, the highest international package offered at the institute took a dip from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 55 lakh per annum. The drop in international package was confirmed by A Venkatraman, Placement Convenor at FMS.

Various students of the institutes also opted out of placements and sought to develop their start-up ideas. These students were given time off during the placements in order to encourage entrepreneurship. Students can avail the placement opportunities during the two years of the programme at FMS, Delhi.

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Placement 2017

Faculty of Management Studies of the University of Delhi or DU has completed its placement offer and as always, DU has lived up to its reputation of achieving 100% placement Every year. Usually, FMS’s placement process at FMS is the two-step process. The II phase of placement programme at FMS starts in the month of December.

FMS Delhi Summer Placement 2017(PPO)

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University’s summer placement for the batch 2017-19 was a successful one.  A total of 210 offers were made by the organisation who took part in the campus drive.The highest recruiting sectors in the placement season were

  • FMCG/ FMCD  with 48 offers

  • BFSI sectors with 47 offers.

Sectors like Automobile and Pharmaceutical participated in the summer placements for the first time. Different E-commerce companies also participated in the summer placement of FMS, Delhi University.

FMS Placement 2016

FMS or Faculty of Management Studies has successfully completed its placement process for 2016. The Average stipend went up as compared to the previous year statistics.

Highlights of the FMS placement 2016:

  • 81 companies offered 220 offers that recruited all 210 students

  • A total of 60 pre-placement offers were made out of which 52 were accepted.

  • 30% of the total offers were made by FMCG and FMCD organizations.

  • Placement 2016 saw 80% rise in e-commerce offers made at FMS.

  • The highest number of offers were made by Accenture Strategy i.e. 7.

  • 46 out of 220 offers were made from the BFSI sector.

  • The average stipend offered in 2016 is Rs.78,122 while the median stipend was Rs.75,000.

  • 50% of the students were offered a monthly stipend of Rs. 97,143.

Some of the big organizations that participated in the placements process were Bennett Coleman & Co., ITC, Coca-Cola, Henkel, Tata Steel, Accenture Strategy, Microsoft, Airtel, etc.

Various startups also made offers to promote entrepreneurship amongst the youth of the institute. There are 223 students in the batch out of which 210 students appeared for the campus placement.
