Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) Kanpur was established in 2016 with the goal of becoming a top residential university that will serve as a centre of excellence for research and development in the fields of engineering, technology, applied sciences, social science, management, humanities and other professional programmes. Dear student, to get admission in HBTU, , students have to qualify for the JEE Main examination. As per the previous year's JEE Main round 3 cutoff, the electrical engineering closing rank for the SC category was 1,45,353. Hence, the chances of getting an electrical engineering branch at the 77.8 percentile is possible but a little difficult.
