IIFT's well-established placement cell performs various special grooming sessions to improve students' communication skills, presentation skills and enhances their professional skills. For the 2019-21 IIFT batch, the highest stipend offered was at ?3.2 Lakhs
The 13.5% rise in stipend amounted to ?1.68 lakhs for two months.
A statement from the institute stated that the average stipend for the Top 50% of the 2019-21 batch at IIFT was around ?2.42 lakhs for the entire duration of 2 months.
The 2019-21 IIFT batch also saw a 46% increase in the number of companies that offered an average stipend of ?2 lakhs.

IIFT has emerged as the fasters B-School in India to achieve 100% placement record for the graduating batch of MBA-IB (International Business) 2017-19. The MBA-IB 2017-19 batch of IIFT comprises of 279 students. A total number of 98 companies participated in IIFT placements 2018-19 and recruited all the students of MBA-IB batch 2017-19. The highest package offered to an IIFT student this year was Rs. 1 crore per annum. On the other hand, several students were selected for an annual package of Rs. 75 lakh. This year, 32 new companies took part in the IIFT placements.
This year, the average salary offered to IIFT students was Rs. 20.07 lakh per annum (international). Similarly, the average domestic package offered to students was Rs. 18.89 lakh per annum. Compared to the previous year, there has been significant growth in the average international and domestic salary package.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi completed its placement drives for 2017. The drive was a huge success this year as there were four students who grabbed Rs 1 crore-plus packages. The domestic package went up by 21% i.e, Rs 29 lakh per annum. Living up to its reputation IIFT achieved 100% placement at the B-school, the average package was Rs 18.01 lakh.

The placement process saw companies from various sector participating in order to hire great talent from IIFT Delhi. Some companies participated first time in the placement process and offered jobs.
