Overall: Rajiv Gandhi University of knowledge Technologies, also called as RGUKT(IIIT) Basar is established in the adobe of goddess Saraswathi by the AP state government in 2008.The main motto of the university is to cater the educational needs of talented rural youth of the Telangana state. Most of the students in the university are from rural background and from economically backward classes.University offers a unique six years integrated course and hence it is a unique university in South India. It offers Two years of Pre University Course(which is called as Intermediate course) with the Subjects: Maths,Physics ,Chemistry,Information Technology,Bioscience, Telugu/Sanskrit and English. In the next 4 years, university offers B.Tech course in seven different branches(CSE,ECE,EEE,Mech,Chem,MME,Civil).

Placement: Campus have a good placement percentage.Indeed many people think that getting into IIIT Basar is getting into job. Heavy campus placements can be seen jn CSE,ECE.Chemical branch has been seen with 100% placement percentage from the last couple of years. On an average every year campus records a placement percentage of around 60% to 80%. Apart from placements, the alumni of the campus has started around 5 start ups and the best thing is they also come for campus recruitments every year. Presently the culture of entrepreneurship is also growing in the campus with the hardworking efforts of the team E-Cell in the campus.

Infrastructure: The university spans over 272 acres and has good infrastructure, accommodating over 10000 stakeholders. PUC blocks spans over an area of around 1 and half acre, has two academic blocks with four floors. It also has administrative block along with Digital library.Campus also has Central library(24/7) which is useful for many readers and learners. Seperate department blocks are also there for each individual departments including labs. In campus we also have a super market which facilitates all the faculty and students. Recently the RGUKT lake was also beautified under the guidence of HMDA.Greenary and plantation is seen any where in the campus.Recently the university got Green University award in COP 28 summit. Apart from this we have two big playgrounds named the Kakatiya playground and Shatavahana Play ground, where students get lots of entertainment by playing outdoor games.Sports tournaments also takes place regularly. For the overall development of students we also have a Student Activity Center(SAC) in campus, where we have a big auditorium which can facilitate around 1500-2000 members.Along with that SAC consists of Tennis court,Table tennis court,Kabaddi court,Chess and Carroms room,Music room, dance room etc..

Faculty: Most of the faculty working here are from the reputed IITs,NITs and IIMs of the nation. Many of them are also pursuing Ph.D. Even though we have less number of regular faculty, contract faculty was recruited and academic works are going on in a peaceful manner. Some faculty are extremely superb in teaching while some are not so worthy.so here most of the students depends on self study(like any other engineering student) and refer digital platforms to learn any courses.

Hostel: In campus we have one dormitary block each for girls and boys.It also have four big hostel blocks with five floors and 3 wings each.Girls are accommodated in two and boys are accommodated in other two hostels. Each student is provided with a cot and matresses.Free space is provided in the hostels so that we can chitchat and chill with the friends. We can see a total of 4 messes or dining halls in the campus.

Overall: This is the university where u find a lot of peace as well as time to explore yourself. Here we study ourself with less distrubance and stressless education.

Placement: The placement in our college is moderate but I think it places maximum members.it depends upon the students. So in our collage most of our faculty help us to prepare for the jobs and helps us to develop our skills.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure over here looks like a highly qualified range of structure. The arrangement is very well mannered where the students gets interest in studying.

Faculty: When we are coming to faculty mainly our department. As most of the members face difficulty with the faculty even I also faced at start later on it will be habituated to us. Finally defects also make persons right due to some defects in our faculty i started self studying which helped me alot

Hostel: As we know hostel means every one have a lot of fear but here. It feels like a home very spacious and comfortable. The washrooms as well as rooms are very clean and tidy

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of your university plays a crucial role in providing a conducive environment for learning, research, and campus life. Factors such as the quality of classrooms, laboratories, libraries, recreational facilities, and residential halls contribute to the overall infrastructure rating. From available information, if your university boasts modern and well-maintained facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, spacious libraries, comfortable study spaces, and updated technological resources, it likely earns a high infrastructure rating. On the other hand, if there are issues with overcrowding, outdated facilities, or insufficient resources, the rating might be lower. Considering these factors, your university's infrastructure rating would be more accurately assessed based on specific details and experiences related to the campus facilities and resources available

Faculty: Rating the faculty at your university involves assessing their expertise, teaching quality, mentorship, accessibility, and commitment to student success. A high rating would be warranted if the faculty members demonstrate deep subject knowledge, engage students effectively in the learning process, provide valuable feedback, and offer mentorship opportunities. Additionally, accessibility, approachability, and willingness to support students outside of class contribute positively to the rating. Faculty who actively engage in research or professional development often bring current insights to the classroom, enriching the educational experience. Moreover, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment enhances the overall quality of education. Conversely, if there are issues with faculty engagement, lack of support, or inadequate teaching quality, the rating would be lower. Overall, a high faculty rating

Hostel: Rating the hostel facilities at your university involves considering various factors such as cleanliness, amenities, comfort, security, community atmosphere, and affordability. If the hostels offer clean and well-maintained living spaces, modern amenities like laundry facilities, communal areas for socializing, study rooms, and reliable security measures, they likely deserve a high rating. Additionally, a supportive and inclusive community within the hostels contributes to a positive experience for students. Affordability is also crucial, ensuring that accommodations are accessible to all students. Therefore, a high rating would reflect hostels that meet these criteria, providing a safe, comfortable, and conducive living environment for students throughout their academic journey. Conversely, issues such as poor maintenance, inadequate facilities, or safety concerns would lower the rating. Overall, the hostel rating depends on the balance of these factors and the overall satisfaction of students residing in them.
