• Candidates can apply for the UG/PG courses post successful completion of the entrance examinations.
• The application form will be available on the official website
• Candidates are required to fill in all the personal details, educational details, and entrance examination details while filling the form.

RIMS Ranchi campus is spread over 214 acres and built with a complete infrastructure, which includes 1500 bedded multi-speciality hospital with advanced diagnostic tools. Ten bedded Oncology centre with the Radiation Machinery and Trauma centre with 14 beds.

• Auditorium: There are two auditoriums on the RIMS Ranchi campus, one being a multipurpose auditorium which hosts several RIMS Ranchi seminars, functions and competitions. The small one serves as a lecture theatre and a venue for small events and meetings.
• Canteen: RIMS campus also includes a canteen open throughout the day and serves delicacy for the medical students. The campus also has a coffee shop open till late at night and gives the students their much-needed daily caffeine to work through their hectic days and nights.
• Parks: RIMS Ranchi campus includes many parks. Some of them are the Rajendra Prak, Major Sankalp park, Sanjeevni park, Albert Ekka Park, Swami Vivekananda Park and the RIMS Circle. The RIMS faculty and students have donated a lot for plantations all over the campus, especially in the parks, where a majority of saplings and plants were planted with the help of donations made by students and doctors. 
• Stadium: The RIMS Ranchi stadium was recently rebuilt to include a stand for audiences which can seat 1000 people at a time. The pedestrian walk around the stadium is a favourite spot for joggers and casual walks for students and faculty alike.
• Hostel: Students at RIMS Ranchi experience the virtual realms of life residing in a hostel. Beyond books and lectures, the student grows by comprehending a great deal about independence, struggle, management, politics, unity and companionship during their stay in the hostel. The in-charge of the library's smooth functioning and working are maintained by librarian, three library attendants and one housekeeping staff.

RIMS Ranchi started establishing various clubs and associations in 2016. The RIMS Ranchi clubs involve students in different kinds of activities to promote the overall development of the students. The RIMS Ranchi clubs and associations play a crucial role in breaking the monotony at the campus and allowing the students to socialise and make valuable memories. 

• Literary Club: A literary club does all the work about literary events. The literary club had organised a signature campaign and a hand imprinting campaign for all the institute members with the idea of bringing them together. An essay writing competition was also held. The RIMS Ranchi literary club also looks after the publication of the annual information booklet, ' Varnan ' and an annual students magazine, 'Spriha'. The club also aims to publish academic bulletins quarterly.
• Quiz Club: RIMS Ranchi quiz club was established to promote curiosity and general cognition among the institute's students. It aims to manage quizzes at the inter and intra-college levels and encourage the participation of students in state and national level quiz competitions. The RIMS Ranchi quiz club visualises conducting medical quizzes, sports, science, and general and miscellaneous quizzes.
• Prayas: Prayas is the noble initiative by the RIMS Ranchi students, which aims to provide free quality education to underprivileged children in and around the RIMS Ranchi campus. The student has taken the initiative to teach middle and high school students for hours, three or four days a week.
• Movie Club: Students must not think that the RIMS Ranchi campus is “all study and no play”. RIMS Ranchi movie club gives the students a much-needed break from their hectic schedule and serves as a source of entertainment. However, most movie theatres in the city are far from the campus. To solve this issue and provide yet another opportunity for the RIMS Ranchi students to socialise with each other every month, the RIMS Ranchi movie club organise movies at least once a month. The students gather under one roof to have a fun time. 

RIMS Ranchi alumni represent the bonding among its student, ex or present, young or old. With this vibrancy, "The Association of RMCH / RIMS Alumni", short ARRA, was established in April 2009. Till now, RIIMS Ranchi alumni is enriched with 189 founder members, five Premium members and 900 life members. All of them were approached individually by RIMS Ranchi ARRA and have been registered. 

RIMS Ranchi alumni meet is held annually and is proudly called “Puranmilan”. The association is registered under the Society Act and runs its office in the Department of Telemedicine.
