Sathyabama University placed in the 1201-1500 rank band in THE World University Rankings. The rankings are based on 13 factors that measure how well universities teach, research, share knowledge, and have an international focus. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication that ranks universities worldwide based on several key indicators of academic performance and reputation. The rankings provide a comprehensive overview of the global higher education landscape and are widely recognized as one of the most influential university rankings. To ensure the rankings are accurate, the researchers studied more than 121 million citations from over 15.5 million research papers and got feedback from 40,000 scholars worldwide. They collected massive information, with over 680,000 data points from more than 2,500 participating universities.

Sathyabama University admissions 2025 for the various undergraduate and graduate programmes are now open. The university is also inviting applications for the Sathyabama All India Engineering Entrance Examination (SAEEE) 2025 for admission to B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Des programmes. Sathyabama University was established in Chennai in the year 2001. Before, it functioned as an engineering college with merely three departments and three UG programmes. When Sathyabama University was granted university status, a total of 15 departments came into existence with 10 UG and four PG programmes.
