The TMI campus is built in a rural area with neither the benefits of an urban infrastructure nor the constraints of the cityscape. This made it possible for the TMI campus to be purpose-built with infrastructural facilities that could be leveraged for the learning experience.
A Pleasant and healthy environment
It is the firm belief of the management that a pleasant and healthy environment is an excellent catalyst for learning and therefore no efforts have been spared in developing an aesthetic campus with every reasonable convenience. It starts with a network of wide tree-lined roads and architectural design that blends comfortably with the landscape. This is supplemented with the waterscape of cooling ponds and a lake.
Campus Engineering System
The primary components of the engineering system at the Tolani Maritime Institute campus include:
Power Plant
A seven-ton per hour boiler capable of burning agro-waste powers a steam turbine to produce electricity. A pair of diesel-driven generators provides a backup to this primary source of electric power.
Vapor absorption chiller
The low-pressure exhausted steam from the turbine is then used to power an environment-friendly vapor absorption chiller to deliver chilled water to air conditioning units installed for climate control of the academic facilities.
Water Treatment Plant
The water treatment plant provides safe drinking water at every tap on the campus. A high level of maintenance attention and regular testing ensure the quality of the water.
Effluent treatment plant
The hundreds of campus residents generate a substantial quantity of effluent every day. This is processed in a treatment plant that yields water safe for use in watering the lawns and plants. The remaining solid waste is used as fertilizer.
Protection of the Environment
Conservation of resources and protection of the environment is a central theme in the design of this campus. In addition to the proactive elements incorporated into the design of the engineering systems, the boiler exhaust is processed through an electrostatic precipitator to minimize air pollution.
Digital Connectivity
The campus is fully wired for high-performance networking in all forms. High-speed data communications take place over a fully switched network based on an optical fiber backbone with gigabyte bandwidth. Campus residents can freely access the Institute's server resources as well as the Internet from almost anywhere on the campus.
A modern digital PABX is the hub of an extensive voice network that provides direct access for off-campus calls, including international calls.
All users can also take advantage of the integrated voice mail system that ensures efficient communications for persons with a demanding schedule on the widespread campus.
Residential facilities include hostel accommodation for students, townhouse styled apartments for faculty and an executive residence for persons enrolled in advanced courses. Extensive sports facilities have been provided to promote a healthy active lifestyle with a competitive streak
Students reside in three hostels each having more than 250 rooms, modern kitchens and separate 250 seat dining halls. A reading room, a television room with a large screen projection television and activity areas are located in the buildings. An internal quadrangle provides a large open space suitable for recreational or leisure activities and hostels 2 and 3 overlook a 200 metre synthetic athletics track. A majority of hostel rooms also have Wi-Fi access to the campus data network, which enables broadband Internet connectivity.
Hostel: Hostel fecilities are very good for my college seperate for girls and boys. they provide tasty and healthy food always lookafter for girls morning breakfast lunch dinner and provide snaks also at evening time
Hostel: The residential student hostels are state-of-the-art as well as gender-segregated. All rooms have basic in-built utilities and are designed as a comfortable independent unit. Each hostel is fitted with water coolers fitted with RO and purifiers, a pantry on the ground floor, microwave ovens, and other facilities. All rooms and washrooms are well-fitted
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with the best classroom and a big library with lots of books and proper seating arrangements. Wi-fi facilities are available, and in labs, all the computers are in working condition. very knowledgeable teacher good teaching management
Infrastructure: Concerning the physical facilities, I have noticed that the college has ensured that their infrastructures are well maintained as much as possible. Classes, times, schedules, even buildings are all decided and allocated in a way to ensure the maximum level of convenience for the students is achieved.
Hostel: The two stand out items are the shower and the bedding area. The room is clean, spacious and has a provision of toilet and bathroom facility inside the room. The types of food are also available. When you come here you will notice that all the facilities will seem as if they are local and all of them convenient.
Hostel: Hostel is good but food is to be improved they are giving tea and milk in the morning and bread and daily one tiffin in the morning And also wifi is available for everyone
Infrastructure: Infrastructures of the college is so nice and good. All the basic amenties like Spacious & Clean Classrooms, Libraray Hospital and medical facilities, Hostel Accommodation, Cafeteria, Laboratories etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the main thing that increases students' interest in choosing this university over other colleges and universities, and universities provide all over with a full campus and provide each student with their username and password for Wi-Fi use, and labs are fully AC.
Infrastructure: Quality of Infrastructure is good, although almost every facility is provided, classrooms of the college are so good, washrooms are clean, sports ground is also availbale.
Hostel: it provides comprehensive hostel facilities on the college campus for boys and girls, complete with modern amenities and an attached mess. The hostel mess provides nutritious and clean food.
Infrastructure: University boosts modern campuses equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, medical facilities, hostel faciliteis and comfortable accommodation for the students.
Hostel: Hostels were average. The food quality was better. There were no unique facilities in the hostels. Medical facilities were available 24X7 with a charge of Rs 500 every time.
Infrastructure: College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Our classroom have all the facilities like projectors, Wi-Fi, Library Facility, and smart classes are available in this institute
Hostel: College hostels are good enough and the rooms are spacious as well as cleaned and maintained throughout the days. The staff of the hostel is also good. I have seen the Hostel Infrastructure and hostel facilities like common kitchens and water coolers are well maintained.
