Overall Honestly, it could either be the best ot the worst experience of your life. College has a flexible attendance schedule, gives a lot of opportunities to participate and helpful professors but it has a few drawbacks in terms of placement. Most degree holders here don’t get placed rather opt for litigation or judicial services.
Placement According to my knowledge, placement rate is minimal, but the college prepares you for Litigation and a lot of degree holders opt for judicial services as their career paths.
Infrastructure There is no lift in the department. The benches are pretty hard and uncomfortable. No air conditioning, washrooms are often non functional and dirty. No smart boards( these facilities are available in a few classes). Some times even the water coolers run out of water.
Faculty The experienced faculty at university institute of legal studies is great. But the revolving teachers and assistant faculty sometimes is not the best.
Hostel Double/ triple Sharing rooms. Common washrooms (2 on a floor). No cleaning service for rooms. No air conditioning. Food is average. It is not compulsory to stay in hostels. Also hostel availability is very minimal.
