Established in 2014 and recognised by the West Bengal Government in nearly the same year, University of Engineering & Management Kolkata goes the extra mile to ensure that its students have received professional exposure in the corporate world.

UEM Kolkata backs its intentions of placing all its eligible students with a good track record in the education field. As of 2022, The UEM Kolkata has been awarded the AAA category in NPTEL Program. The University was also the force behind organising UEMCON-2016 at Columbia University, a privately held university in New York.

The entire UEM Kolkata  placements is looked after by the Corporate Relations and Career Development Cell.

Until its recent batch, the Corporate Relations and Career Development Cell could secure the maximum annual package of Rs 72 lacs and a minimum annual package of Rs 4 lacs.

Placement at the UEM Kolkata for 2022 outshined its previous records. A total of 1,232 students were eligible for the placement process in 2022. As per the data publicly available, the UEM Kolkata won several praises for securing multiple job offers for its students.

The Corporate Relations and Career Development Cell prepares students for job placements. The Career Development Cell caters to services like career counselling and academic advice as part of the placement department.

All the efforts led to the best record of 100% placement in Engineering & Management and Hotel & Hospitality Management.

Some of the reputed engineering & management recruiters were Infosys, Wipro, BYJU’s, Reliance, and Rakuten.

In 2017, placement is going on at full swing. We expect to complete placement of all students by the end of April.
UEM Kolkata  students will sit for placement together with IEM, Kolkata and UEM, Jaipur students and will be interviewed together. Dual Placement will be held for UEM Kolkata , once with IEM Kolkata & once separately for the UEM Kolkata students.
