VIIT Pune Admissions 2023: MHT CET 2023 official website has been launched. Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology admissions to undergraduate courses is dependent on candidates' MHT-CET/JEE Main scores. However, JEE Main candidates are given first preference. 

Candidates' GATE scores are considered for admission to VIIT Pune PG courses. Candidates for the PhD programme must take an admission exam administered by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune. 

VIIT Pune admission policy states that candidates must register for the centralised admission process run by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra for admission to UG and PG programmes. The VIIT Pune admission process for UG, PG, and PhD programmes is stated below.

VIIT Pune offers seven undergraduate programmes. Candidates seeking admission to VIIT Pune UG programmes must secure a valid score in the MHT-CET or JEE Main entrance examinations. VIIT Pune provides five postgraduate programmes to its students. VIIT Pune admissions to PG programmes are offered on the basis of the candidates score in the GATE entrance examination. Applicants must have completed graduation in the concerned course for admission to its PG programme.

VIIT Pune offers three different PhD programmes. PhD Civil Engineering, PhD Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and PhD Mechanical Engineering are the doctoral level courses offered by VIIT Pune. Candidates interested in VIIT Pune PhD admissions should have a postgraduate degree or M.Phil with minimum 55% marks. Valid scores in the SPPU entrance examination are also required.

-In the MHT CET test, the VIIT Pune cutoff for CSE/ IT is normally around 100 or higher. The CET cutoff for 2021 admission was 90.53 for IT and 92.47 for CSE, respectively. For JEE Mains 2021, the CSE and IT cutoff scores were 2401 and 3012, respectively.
