The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)- Belgaum.
Bachelor of Engineering:
- For admission into BE, at least a minimum of 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is a must.
- In case of SC/ST candidates, this percentage is fixed at 40%.
- Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the B.E. courses.
- They must hold a valid student VISA.
Master of Technology:
- For admission to M.Tech, course candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying (BE/B.Tech) examination with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters / years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semester / years divided by the sum of maximum marks).
- In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST/Cat -1, marks shall not be less than 45%.
Master of Business Administration (MBA):
For admission to MBA, candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e. integer 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. In the case candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat-1, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45%
Application Fees:
The application and prospectus can be obtained from the college office on payment of cash of Rs. 500/- or by sending a D.D. for the said amount in favour of "The Principal, SJB Institute of Technology, Kengeri, Bangalore South".
Commencement of the Classes for the Academic Year 2016-17:
- 3rd, 5th & 7th Semester B.E Classes start from 1st August 2016
- 3rd Semester M.Tech & MBA Classes start from 1st August 2016
Bus and Hostel fee per year:
- First Slab : Rs. 20,000/- Food & Accommodation ( 3 seater common) : Rs.75,000/-
- Second Slab : Rs.25,000/- Food & Accommodation ( 3 seater attached bathroom only for boys ) : 80,000/-
- Third Slab : Rs. 30,000/- Food & Accommodation ( 2 seaters attached bathroom only for Post Graduate students) : 85,000/-
