The AP High Court has imposed a temporary stay on AP EAMCET Final Phase Counselling 2025, and the seat allotment result that was scheduled to be released on August 4 has been postponed.

AP EAMCET Final Phase Counselling 2025 has been temporarily stalled by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh due to an ongoing issue between certain private colleges and the AP Government. The issue was related to the 'Local Status'. As the matter reached the AP High Court, the bench imposed a stay on the counselling process. Till the dispute is resolved, the final phase seat allotment of AP EAMCET 2025 shall remain postponed. The new date for the seat allotment shall be confirmed only as per the directions of the AP High Court on the ongoing issue. Students need to wait a few more days to check their allotments. As per the current scenario, the allotments are most probably postponed by a week. The classes for the first-year B.Tech students might also be delayed as the allotments are postponed.

When to expect AP EAMCET 2025 Final Phase Seat Allotment Expected?

As the matter is in the purview of the AP High Court, it is difficult to predict when the seat allotment is expected. However, APSCHE will be working on resolving the issue as early as possible so that the academic session for first-year B.Tech students can begin on time. The matter is expected to be resolved in a week, and the allotments are expected to be published on the official portal by the second week of August. There is a chance for the release of allotments by or before August 10. However, the date is purely indicative and subject to the progress in proceedings at the AP High Court. Students are advised not to believe rumours on the seat allotment date and wait for an official update.
