Avantika University to accept UCEED 2026 Score for B.Des Admission

Avantika University has confirmed that it will consider UCEED 2026 scores for B.Des admissions. Students can now apply using their UCEED rank through the university’s separate admission process.

Avantika University to Accept UCEED 2026 Score: The Avantika University, Ujjain, will now accept the UCEED 2026 score for admission to its B.Des programmes, which is a significant step for design aspirants in the country. The shift in policy is part of an emerging trend among design schools that are beginning to acknowledge scores from national design entrance exams to widen access to their specialised courses.

The university’s school of design has earlier admitted students based on some national–level exams like NID‑DAT and its own Design Scholarship Test (DST). By allowing the UCEED 2026 scores, the university is easing the hassle for numerous aspirants who take the national-level test and are now presented with an additional route to get admission in a design programme. The university offers B.Des admission (open for students who have passed 10+2 in any stream), with a minimum 50% aggregate. After uploading a valid UCEED score or any other design test score recognised by Avantika (such as NID-DAT or MIT-DAT), they are also able to participate in Avantika’s own rounds (portfolio review and interview).
