As per the sample paper released, the question paper will consist of total 12 questions and all of them are compulsory to attend. The question paper will have three sections- Section A, B, and C. No overall choice would be provided by the Board. Although, one question will have a two-mark internal choice and two questions will have a three-mark internal choice. Such questions require students to attempt only one choice.

CBSE 12th Term 2 Physics Marking Scheme
Section A, B, and C will carry the following marks-
Section A: It will carry 3 questions of 2 marks each i.e., 6 marks in total.
Section B: This section will carry 8 questions of 3 marks each i.e., 24 marks in total.
Section C: This part will have 1 case study based question for 5 marks i.e., 5 marks in total.
