As per the Press Trust of India i.e. the PTI, it has been stated that the CBSE class 12th board exam results will be declared on Sunday, 28th May 2017.
Finally, since the official statement regarding the release of results has been announced by the Board, the students are ought to get a sigh of relief. Many students have been showcasing anxiousness as well as nervousness with regards the announcement of CBSE results.
The admission season for undergraduate programmes is in full swing. The students have been waiting for the results since almost a week now so that they could apply to the colleges of their choice and fill in the necessary applications for admissions at prestigious universities of the country.

Last year, CBSE had announced the results of CBSE class 12th examinations on 21st May 2016. This time, it has been thus delayed by a week.
The reason behind the delay was Delhi High Court's order to continue with the marks moderation policy in the interest of the students. CBSE initially thought that they would approach the apex court challenging this decision. However, after careful consideration by legal experts, the Board has been advised to not go ahead with that plan. The policy, hence, may become ineffective from the next academic year.

Once the CBSE results are declared on Sunday, the students who took the examinations will be able to access the same by following a few simple steps. All they will be required to do is visit the official website of CBSE and enter their roll numbers, after which the results will be declared on the screen.
