COMEDK Round 1 Cutoff 2024 Live UpdatesCOMEDK Round 1 Cutoff 2024: The COMEDK Round 1 seat allotment 2024 for B.Tech has been released today, July 12, 2024 and shortly afterwards, COMEDK Round 1 Cutoff 2024 has been released as well. Candidates who have registered and filled in their choices will be considered for the Round 1 seat allotment and have been allotted a seat as per their ranks. Here candidates shall access the college-wise cutoffs for all the colleges and courses. Candidates are advised to check the cutoffs as it will help to determine the opening and closing cutoff ranks for the upcoming seat allotment rounds.

COMEDK Round 1 cutoff 2024 will be released for each college and course-wise. Those who have been allotted seats in Round 1 may check the cutoffs to estimate the expected cutoffs for Round 2 seat allotment, and accordingly choose to accept seat upgradation. The cutoffs for each college will be updated here as soon as released on the official website. Candidates shall note that the seat allotment as well as cutoffs on the official website at www.comedk.org.

If the candidates do not take any action for the first time of COMEDK seat allotment, then the same will be considered as the Reject and Withdraw option and hence, they will not be eligible to participate in the further round of counselling.

The total admission fees of the allotted colleges will include the tuition fees plus other fees. Note, that the tuition fees of the colleges will be varied.

Candidates who choose "Accept and Upgrade" option for the KKR (HK region) seat allotment in round 1, will only be considered for the KKR (HK region) seats in the round 2 phase 1.

How authority will allot COMEDK Round 1 seat?
The authority will release the COMEDK round 1 seat allotment result based on the choices filled by the candidates and also on their merit. The seats for COMEDK round 1 allotment will be done in a non-interactive online mode.

COMEDK Round 1 Seat Allotment: What is Reject and Withdraw?
If the candidates are neither satisfied with the allotment nor want to continue the COMEDK counseling process, then they should choose the "Reject and Withdraw" option. Hence, the candidates will not be able to participate in the COMEDK counselling process further.

Candidates who want to upgrade the seat in the COMEDK subsequent round of seat allotment and also do not want to cancel the round 1 allotment, should choose the Accept and Upgrade option. In such a case, if the candidates will not be satisfied with the round 2 allotment and want to accept the round 1 allotment, then choosing the Accept and Upgrade option will be suitable.

Candidates who will be satisfied with the COMEDK round 1 seat allotment result, and will not like to upgrade the allotment further in the subsequent round, should choose the Accept and Freeze option to confirm the allotment.

Is it possible to edit choices after COMEDK Round 1 seat allotment?
No, it is not possible to edit the choices further after releasing the COMEDK Round 1 seat allotment result. Since this is the final round of allotment, therefore the candidates will not be allowed to make corrections. Either they should accept the choice, if they are satisfied with the allotment, or should wait for the next round and expect a seat degradation.

The authority has not yet declared the official time of releasing the COMEDK round 1 cutoff. Tentatively it will be released around 5 PM, that is 2 to 3 hours later of the releasing of round 1 seat allotment.

COMEDK Round 1 Cutoff: Re-opening of Counselling Registration for Architecture
The authority will re-open the COMEDK counselling registration and document upload due to the new eligibility criteria set by COA, from July 12, 2024 (2 PM) to July 14, 2024 (till 3 PM).

COMEDK Round 1 Cutoff: When will reporting process start?
The candidates, who choose the accept and freeze option, should report to the allotted colleges from July 13 to 19, 2024 (till 12 PM). If the candidates fail to report to the allotted colleges by the scheduled time and date, then their allotment will be cancelled automatically.

Candidates who will be allotted a seat via the COMEDK round 1 seat allotment round, should accept the seat and pay the processing fees on or before July 18, 2024 (till 4 PM).
