English Conversation Today 21 September 2025 : As part of today's English conversation practice on September 20, 2025, we have created a fun and interactive role play for kids focusing on daily English speaking skills. This practice aims to boost confidence in using everyday English phrases and vocabulary. Learning English through role plays makes it more engaging and effective.

Characters

Ria (a school student)
Ms Anya (Arts Teacher)

Role Play

Ms Anya: "Good morning, Ria, your drawing of the sun is so bright and happy!" (kneeling beside the little girl's desk.)
(Ria beamed.)

Ria: "Thank you! But my dog's fur looks weird." (She pointed to a scribble of brown and black.)

Ms Anya: "It doesn't look weird at all, but I can show you a little trick. When you're drawing something fluffy like a dog, you can make your lines a bit short and fast, like this." (Ms Anya gently demonstrated with a crayon on a scrap of paper, making quick, tiny strokes.)

Ms Anya: "It makes the fur look soft and bouncy."
(Ria watched, her eyes wide.)

Ria: "Ooooh! It's like little tickles on the paper!"

Ms Anya: "Exactly! And for the grass," (continued) "instead of drawing one long line, try making little pointy shapes that go up and down."
(She made a few more strokes.)

Ms Anya: "See? It looks like the grass is waving in the wind."
(Ria giggled, picking up a green crayon. )

Ria: "Waving grass! I'm going to make the whole world wave."
(Ms Anya smiled.)

Ms Anya: "That's the spirit, Ria. Have fun with your drawing, and remember, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents and new ways to make things look special."
