The 30th annual convocation of the Indian Institute of Management-Lucknow will be held on March 12.
CEO and founder of InMobi, a mobile ad network company, Naveen Tewari will deliver the convocation address.
About Naveen Tewari-
Tewari, an expert in creating world-class organisations from within India, built InMobi, a mobile ad-tech platform with a focus on making advertising compelling and with the goal of helping users and marketers in making smarter decisions.
His Journey-
He had started his journey with McKinsey& Company, where he worked on developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector. He has wide experience of working with the top management of a number of software companies and consumer product enterprises in India on various strategic issues.
His Contribution-
After that he joined Charles River Ventures where he worked on developing its India investment strategy. He also briefly worked with a mobile VoIP start-up, vQube Inc., in Silicon Valley. He also founded India Schoolhouse Fund (ISF) and serves as its Chairman. He has been a board member at Paytm Mobile Solutions Private Limited since June 2015. He serves as a director of Mobile Marketing Association.
Awards and rewards-
He did his MBA from Harvard Business School after completing Bachelor of Technology from IIT-Kanpur. At HBS, he was the recipient of its highest honour 'The Dean's Award' given for his exceptional leadership and contribution.
